they ruined the most amazing pumpkin patch experience in southern california. i created the initial cal poly pomona pumpkin patch entry on google maps and these clowns deleted years of photos from the community just to label it AGRIscapes... why couldn't you continue adding pictures? Oh, that's right, cuz people would have been mislead into thinking it was still the most amazing grown on the vine pumpkin patch in SOCAL. I completely understand its business and the school wants to turn a profit but the school commercialized this pumpkin patch from a 10/10 pat h down to a 1/10. i've been reviewing for years and can't remember giving anyone a 1/10 but jeez.... trash.
the worst part is it's been something im we've been doing since the patch started and have years of pictures from the patch so we can't stop going and witnessing the deterioration of this most amazing once weekend only festival. you've gotten so lazy that now you're shipping boxes of old pumpkins from non local growers vs making the entire field a pumpkin patch and allowing people first come first serve access to vine grown fresh pumpkins.
Leaving this place muddy, dirty, and a bit pained at the hands from the raspy vines is no longer. Anyway congrats on the thousands of dollars y'all are generating for the agriculture department vs teaching students how ti actually grow stuff in the massive field. I hope the director rethinks their strategy... i get that it's all about the benjamins nowaday but if seriously love to slap whom ever decided to commercialize this...
Read morePumpkin festival used to be free admission and you'd pay to buy a pumpkin, any food, or any activities you'd want to do. Totally reasonable. Now you have to pay a ridiculous amount of money just to get in and that admission price doesn't include anything. You're literally paying money just for the privilege to look at pumpkins. If you actually want a pumpkin? Still have to buy it. Want food? $10 for a lemonade. But, and I quote, "taking pictures is free"... (Actually there are some places you have to pay for even that). In short, what used to be a fairly priced pumpkin patch is now easily a $100 event for a family of 4. Hard pass for...
Read moreTickets are $12 for adult and $10 for children (from 2 years old to 12 years old). You don’t need to buy tickets for children under two years old. Our family of four spends more than $40 on tickets. We can only go to the pumpkin garden. Pumpkins are sold more expensive than other places. It‘s very hot and boring inside. We need to buy tickets separately to play and the food is very expensive . The parking lot is also very bad. So this place is not worth your consideration at all. The experience is very poor, and there are many more interesting and cheap...
