This was the worst venue I’ve ever been to. So many people crammed into the Pike Room… Nobody was directing people to fill in empty seats so they added extra seats on the ends of rows, blocking the walkway. No food at the bar, but drinks available. Later while waiting to meet the performers, they brought out 2 snack trays but not sure if that was for the staff? The performers we came to see were visibly uncomfortable on stage and overheated, and the sound/lighting guy literally left the show as soon as it started so there was nobody to adjust anything for them. The people working front of house and bartender were really nice, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. The photo is from after the show, where you can see they had to add seating on the right. Even from some of the seats on the right that were meant to be there, you couldn’t see the whole stage. There were absolutely people who paid for tickets that were unable to see the performance, which is unacceptable. Edit: Oh and I forgot that they also shut those green doors where the bathrooms are so every time someone came back from the bathroom the door slammed, which was super distracting...
Read moreThe inside of this venue is very updated and modern. However, the outside needs some work. I normally wouldn't care what the outside of a venue looks like but it matters at this one. When the line to get into a show is long, the line will snake next to the building in a rough looking alleyway. There are glass shards and broken bottles scattered everywhere. I was very worried that my feet would be cut open. The security members who check you and your things before you enter the building were a bit rude and tried to rush me through even though I had a boot on my foot from a sprain and couldn't quite walk at a normal speed. Once inside, I was again treated poorly by the staff. I would stand somewhere and there would be other people standing on all sides of me but they would yell at me to move. I wasn't in a VIP area and I wasn't blocking any exits or equipment. There were people all around. This situation happened THREE times. I was very angry and at that point, the place had filled up and I ended up not being able to see ANYTHING on the stage. I was very disappointed, angry, and...
Read moreI am so happy that we chose to have our wedding at the Crofoot! We chose this venue for our September 2017 ceremony and reception because we were looking for something different from the usual banquet hall feel. We got that and so much more. We absolutely loved how everything turned out, and almost all of our guests commented on how much they loved it there and how cool and unique it was. The staff at the Crofoot are amazing as well! Kristine helped us to coordinate our wedding throughout the planning process, and then we also had a wonderful team of staff to help us the day of since Kristine was out of town that weekend. I was a little nervous not to have her there the day of, but she did a great job of communicating the details to the rest of the team and everything still turned out perfectly. Justin, Stephanie, and Jennica all did a phenomenal job behind the scenes making sure that everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. I truly don't think our wedding would have been half as awesome as it was if we had chosen a different venue....
