Kegger Burger — Restaurant in Pontiac

I recently embarked on a culinary adventure at Kegger Burger in Pontiac, Michigan, and let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion that could rival a fireworks show! My taste buds went on a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions as I tackled the "Devil's Peak" and the "Smoked BBQ Brisket Sandwich."

The "Devil's Peak" is like the daredevil of burgers. It came out looking like it had just conquered Mount Everest, with a towering stack of perfectly cooked beef patties, spicy jalapeños, and a sauce that made me question if I had sold my soul for a bite of this heavenly (or should I say devilish) creation. I'm not saying it's hot, but I've heard rumors that even the kitchen staff wear flame-retardant aprons when making it. But trust me, the heat is worth it. Just make sure you have a fire extinguisher nearby – for your taste buds!

Now, let's talk about the "Smoked BBQ Brisket Sandwich." If this sandwich had a theme song, it would be a country ballad about love at first bite. The brisket was smoked to perfection, tender as a grandmother's hug, and the BBQ sauce was like a sweet serenade to my senses. I swear I heard a chorus of angels singing as I savored every bite.

The atmosphere at Kegger Burger is as lively as a hoedown at a Texas ranch, and the staff is as friendly as your favorite drinking buddy. They made me feel right at home, and I couldn't help but chuckle at their witty banter and burger recommendations.

I have been here 2 times and both visits have been fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic, with different tvs showing events. The service was great. The bartender was friendly and knew the menu well. The food was really good. The menu has so many different things that sound great that it is a hard choice to make. They also have a burger of the week which makes it an even more difficult choice. On my 2nd visit I had one of these weekly specials which was an island burger which was really good. On my first visit, I had the burnt end sandwich and it was fantastic. The burnt ends were done great and the sandwich had plenty. Both were served with French fries which were hot and crispy. Their drink options are remarkable. There are many different whiskeys and other booze. They have a great selection of draft beer which is constantly rotating. They also have a well curated Belgian beer selection in cans and bottles. When in the Pontiac general area, drop by for a beer...

First of all the atmosphere is great, it's not too bright, but not a dungeon. Pam is great behind the bar and always has a great selection on tap with an amazing liquor selection and a great menu of Kegger Cocktails if your not feeling the beer, which is extensive on tap and off tap. The service is top notch, and obviously, as the name of the establishment states, they DO burgers. Dont be a square, GET ONE! they are all fabulous, never frozen, and always fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection how you ask everytime. It's not even an argument on who has the best burgers in the area. Don't be shy, non burger lovers, as they have other handhelds and appetizers. Don't worry, I didn't forget about the veggie heads, I personally have had theirs and vouch for their very tasty natural hand-made veggie patties. Make sure to stop by when you are in the area, and definitely make sure to go out of your way for a life...
