🍺A favorite local spot in downtown Pontiac. Awesome atmosphere and service...not to mention the fabulous beer...and mead...and wine...and cider! 🍷 The drinks are amazing, but the names of the drinks are just as good with a rotating selection that is a little different every time we visit. With so many choices, it can be difficult to decide on what to try...so luckily they have flights available!! If you wanted, you could try a little of each! They also give detailed descriptions of their brews so you have an idea of the flavors...and they are spot on. There was a Christmas tree one...and it tasted just like Christmas! 🌲 Super cool and unique names with equally impressive artwork for each. Some favs are: Old Town Alt, War Cry, Creme Brule, Kappa Berry, Cease & Desist, Blueberry-a-Saurus Rex. Pure Guava...and the best name of all time, Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch Cherry Bomb! 🍒💣 (The Runaways' song must be playing in your head if you drink this one!!) Can get growlers and cans to go!! Oh yeah...they also have great food!!🍕 🥨🍔🥗

Pontiac's only! brewery left standing! Great! Food & Pizza - inviting interior in a goregous historical brick building. Over the years; the beer has been really dialed in & any of their MANY offerings will please you! They don't have a huge barrel-aged stout(my fav), but the imperial IPA n the Silverback Hipster Barleywine definitely are my favorites. Every beer in general is really smooth! Serviced super cold! Honestly, it's a great-complete brewery. Metered parking(it's downtown), and tho the kiosks are there- they barely work on creditcards- Have quarters! Just in case. Diverse crowds and family friendly! Hope downtown Pontiac finally returns to its former shine & Fillmore 13 has held the candle for years around here.

The locals know this spot. I was there an early evening and the bar seats filled up but not a single table was occupied. This tells me that community is important and there are friendly people that gather together. The bacon jam burger was great, house chips are served with, or you can give into the upcharge to get fries or onion rings. The blakes hard cider peach party was not my favorite. I didn't like the pairing of the sweet peaches with the sour apples. The bartender did not seem happy to be at work and definitely brought the mood down.

I LOVE the atmosphere food and drinks however the racial profiling and racism that goes through that building is so weird I’ve been twice and both times they were under staffed and the waitresses attitudes were so low from being overworked. I went by today ordered their Sweet Heat Pizza and Cesar Salad for the first time it was too much dressing on the salad my lettuce was more like noodles from being super soggy and the Sweet Heat was more Sweet than Heat I wasn’t too fond of it and requested a meal change I was told by Shannon “since the food wasn’t cooked incorrectly I couldn’t get a meal swap” mind you I requested a Margarita pizza and a House salad nothing different from what I already ordered I didn’t want to seem rude so I had to pay for two of the exact same meals and she made me pay for my meal before I even got my requested food so I paid for a meal I hadn’t even ate yet and the entire time of me waiting I was not checked on or cared for. (I was told that I had to pay for my meal because their was a shift change and Shannon was applying that she was about to clock out) Third shift came and I stayed for an hour on purpose and Shannon was still there took her breaks came back and all even from the other waitresses their energy was still the same no one wanted to be there and everyone got irritable easily the customer care service is very low which is upsetting because that’s a nice establishment and it’s not that much welcoming to black folks. Shannon assumed that I wasn’t going to pay for my meal and made me pay before I could even get my food usually you get the check and ask for boxes once you’ve finished your food this didn’t happen to me the first time I went and the only reason why I came back was to try their pizza because I’ve been hearing it’s soo good. My advice to Shannon and the Owner is the customers are always right and please don’t lie to your customers and laugh about it in their face with your...

Let me start by saying that the beer was good and the food was great. However, the service was some of the worst I've ever experienced.

We arrived before a show across the street at the Strand...we were told there would be a bit of a wait but we were seated almost immediately. It went downhill from there.

Once the three of us were seated, we watched everyone around us get waited on, including a table a foot away from us. That waiter didn't even acknowledge us. No 'someone will be right with you' or 'let me get someone for you'.

After about 20 minutes, one of us finally went up to the man who had seated us and let him know. He apologized and grabbed a waitress and asked her to serve us. She made a face like she was not very happy about it.

She came over, brought us a carafe of water, and apologized saying that the man who seated us doesn't do that job very often. She took our order, we ordered two beers and a Coke, and we waited.

Food came...not fast, not slow. Food was great.

Our water was gone for several minutes before the waitress brought more. She never stopped to ask how our food was, we had to flag her down to get more beers, she never asked my son if he wanted a refill on the Coke, never asked if we needed anything else.

We got the bills (two separate) and they had taken a $7 beer off of each, which was nice, but not enough to make up for the service.

We enjoyed the food and wanted to try more beers as well as another appetizer or dessert but weren't given the...
