M1 Grill — Restaurant in Pontiac

The WORST experience I ever had from a restaurant. I purchase an order of stir fry with shrimp added to it. FYI, the menu never stated what kind of sauce that would be used for the stir fry. So when I got my order back, I noticed there was a brown like substance poured all over my shrimp and chicken which was unusual for a stir fry that I'm use to getting. So in order for me to know if the sauce was to my taste, I tried one piece of chicken and realized that it had a really foul taste to it. So when the cashier came back out, I explained to her that I don't like the taste of this particular sauce and was it ok to order something else instead. She asked me do I want my money back or did I wanted to order something else? I stated to her yes. And before I can order something else, she said hold on let me go speak with the owner about your concern first before I make any decisions. When she came back out, she stated to me that it wasn't anything they can do about the sauce and that I would have to deal with it. I was furious!!! I asked to speak with a manager and she said it was the owner who denied my request to get my money back or place another order. I never had a problem with any restaurant returning my order or giving me my money back if I was unsatisfied. The owner came out and I explain to him my dissatisfaction of the sauce they were using and why wasn't it on the menu so that way I could have decided if I wanted that or not. The owner never changed his mind about what I asked for and stated to me " what do you want me to do about the food, I'm losing money too"? I was appalled by his concerned and lack of service to a customer. Last, but not least, when I was in the parking lot thinking about how I was treated, a stranger came up to me and asked if I could spare some money for food. I stated that I just left an order of food on the counter where the cashier is so you can asked them if you can have it. Just to show you that these people are unprofessional, they should know that you don't give someone else food if it has been tampered with. I assure you the Health Department wouldn't approve of this. So moments later, the stranger came out with the food I had just ordered and approach me with a thank you. I felt bad for the guy and understood that he was hungry, but as an establishment, you can not give away food someone else have eaten on. I will NEVER go back to support this...

Last night on 5/31/25 We ordered two meals, a western omelet with hashbrowns and a steak omelet with hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns were undercooked. Everything else was good. The waitress was really nice and she did a good job serving us our order. Just as we were finishing up our food, i asked the waitress if they were open 24 hours, and she replied no that they closed at midnight.. which was a few minutes away. HOWEVER, when i said "oh we need to hurry up n get moving then." Her response was, "Oh no, no, don't worry about it take your time.." Not even 5 minutes after that exchange, this man comes from the back of the kitchen yelling at us."we're closed, and you all need to leave right now!" which he repeated back to back with an unnecessary amount of attitude so I replied back to him that "we are leaving but we still have to pay" and we didn't recieve our bill yet because the waitress was so busy taking orders in the drive thru even up to the time we left out the door. He then says "well pay now and leave because we're closed." My final reply to this man was letting him know he don't have to be so rude and disrespectful it's not the way to talk to people i asked the waitress for his name she said she can't give that to me then i asked him and he gave us a fake name of Tony Montana I asked if he was the owner he said yes. Which I fully understand they want to go home. That wasn't the problem it's the way he was talking to us with so much disrespect and being an A-hole.

Well where do i start, i wouldnt waste your time or money this place is a complete rip off after a long day of work i decided to grab a carryout and was completely diappointed. My food was not what i ordered and was way over priced, so when i called to let them know i did not recieve half of the food that i ordered the cashier was quite rude so when i wanted my ordered replaced with what i ordered in the first place she couldnt do it mind u it was eleven at night and i was not not going back then, she told me that i would b contacted in the a.m. by a manager so i had no dinner that night. So i waited for the call which i never recieved real professional huh so like i said hopefully if u choose to eat here hopefully u get what u paid for cuz if not they could care less. So unfortunalty me, my family and friends will no longer give our money or recommendations to this place it must b ran by a bunch of kids. Whats real messed up is i gave the girl a tip for what idk cuz she obviousely doesnt know what shes doing, and she had the audacity to b rude with me they are never busy now i can see why they prolly wont b there much longer they will soon realize that u cannot run a business like that, so good luck if u try this place thats all...
