It's been over a year and I feel like it's important to finally review this venue & caterer. Your wedding is a once in a lifetime event that will likely cost you tens of thousands of dollars - and it's important that the team you partner with treats every wedding with that same reverence.
This was not the case with Jeff and Hayley. Here are a few examples:
We were impacted by COVID and had to delay the wedding. Obviously this was tough for everyone - but we went from a prime Saturday weekend to the Friday of a holiday weekend unless we wanted to pay an additional $10,000 + dollars. For the record, we paid everything owed ahead of schedule despite knowing that COVID could impact things in the future. We were also charged an additional 10% because of the pricing increasing year over year - despite us being forced to move the wedding to a worse date due to COVID. We were also told on the phone that, if the venue closes because of the pandemic, we will need to sue to get the deposit back.
We hired a WONDERFUL wedding coordinator (Seriously - the best money I've ever spent in my life). The Treasury team knew this, and I partly hired this wedding coordinator because the tone changed dramatically once they got our money, and I was feeling so deceived that I wanted someone else to work with the venue. Despite this, at one point during the reception, Hayley rudely interrupted me with an issue about the cake. This shows the lack of professionalism in this venue. We are enjoying the reception, and we have hired someone else to ensure we don't have any hiccups during the day - and when things come up you ignore that directive and interrupt our nice time. Frankly, this was either personal and vindictive, or this was incompetent - neither of which you want on your wedding day.
The food - we used the same catering company as the venue - owned by Jeff. The beef was GREAT! I was nervous considering they don't have a full kitchen at the venue, but the beef was excellent. However, the chicken was one of the worst I have ever had. Totally dry and inedible. We paid to have all meal options as I wanted to make sure I could try each of the options - so I am frankly a little shocked they didn't try to at least give us a good piece. I'd heard negative things from the rest of the guests too.
DJ - we went with their referred DJ since they assured us that the equipment all worked with their system & I did not feel strongly about this overall. Boy, was this a mistake. It's hard to look back and realize the venue itself was rough, but then the recommended options for a DJ and for food were also bad. Whereas the wedding coordinator, videographer, photographer, transportation were all great - and were not preferred choices from the vendor.
Some of these issues may seem minor to you - and if that's the case then you should feel confident about your decision to go with The Treasury. However, if you are like me and were looking for a truly stellar partner on what will be one of the most important days of your lives, then I would steer you in a different direction. Thankfully, none of this outright ruined the wedding & I am so thankful to be married and to have celebrated with friends and family. Unfortunately, I cannot extend that same gratitude to the team at The Treasury.
I am certain I have more examples than what I can remember more than a year later, and I am purely writing this review because I want to make sure any future bride or groom can make the most informed decision to ensure every step of the wedding...
Read moreI truly believe I could not have found a better venue for my wedding. While the marble, gold accents, and timeless charm are all eye-catching, it was the team that made our wedding as special as it was. The photos are stunning, with two beautiful ceremony options. We chose the balcony next to a full wall of windows, and the natural light—literally, any time of year—is incredible. It made for so many amazing pictures. We’ve also attended a wedding on the gallery side, and the custom lighting made it look almost magical. But you can see that in the photos. Let me tell you the real reason this stunning venue is worth every dollar: the people. Hayley, Josh, Natalie, Kristin, and KATIE (my absolute wedding-day hero!) were the most inviting, understanding, joyful, and passionate people I could have ever hoped to work with. Planning a wedding can be mentally, emotionally, and financially stressful—but with this team’s guidance, it truly didn’t feel that way. From the very first tour—where I walked out absolutely certain I had found my venue, even though many renovations were still in progress—to the day after our wedding, they made sure my husband, our families, our bridal party, and every guest felt taken care of. We stayed on-site in the lofts (which I HIGHLY recommend if you can swing it). One of the team members even came up the night we checked in to make sure we were doing well and that no issues had come up. Honestly, they wouldn’t even need to ask—they were always checking in throughout the entire planning process, from the day we signed our agreement right through the week of the wedding. Their communication is fantastic: thorough and helpful without being overwhelming. They were consistently kind, detail-oriented, and—perhaps most importantly—patient. They make everything so easy to understand, and the experience is truly customizable. No matter your budget, you can create a beautiful wedding at The Treasury. Now… THE FOOD! If nothing else, the food is the show-stopper (okay—if it’s not the ceiling). Every bite we had was incredible. The team was SO accommodating with allergies, and when a few guests had to leave early, they even packed up their meals and offered to send them home with ICE CREAM. Yes, ice cream—which I also HIGHLY recommend. Honestly, it might be a requirement! The flavors are fun, it’s absolutely delicious, and it was such a memorable (and interactive!) way to do dessert. From Hayley, Josh, and the coordinating team to the chefs, servers, bartenders, and cleaning crew—you can tell they genuinely love what they do, or at the very least, where they do it. That pride and joy absolutely show in everything. If you’ve made it this far—thank you! I truly wish I could say even more about the food, the service, the uniqueness, and the just-all-around coolness of this venue. I feel so lucky to have found it. To Hayley, Josh, Katie, Kristin, and Natalie—from the bottom of our hearts: thank you. We’re so grateful for everything you did, even the things we can’t put into words. Thank you for guiding us, supporting us, and honestly just being friends throughout this process. I said it so many times while planning: “I’d genuinely enjoy hanging out with any of these people if I just met them at a bar”—and somehow, I got to spend my wedding day with them. That made it all the...
Read moreWOW. Just wow. I cannot give The Treasury and the team there enough credit. There are several points I'd like to make for any future bride that is considering this venue so apologies for the long review.
A little background. I started planning my wedding two years ago and just had it over Memorial Day weekend 2025. I wanted somewhere that hadn't been on everyone's radars, somewhere fresh and new. I didn't want the cookie cutter, "we do the same thing week after week" feel to my wedding. And bonus points if I and the afterparty could stay on-site or close by. This place had it all.
The Venue. The pictures do not do it justice. Please go see this place in person. From the moment my now-husband and I walked in and saw the gold-plated ceiling, we were sold. It is absolutely gorgeous inside. The ornate clock facing the guests as they arrive; the balcony overlooking the dance floor (Pro Tip: Highly recommend having your guests look on from the balcony while you do your first dance on the first floor... it was MAGICAL and gave everyone the perfect view); the ability to have the ceremony and reception both on-property but in two areas that give off different vibes; the vault in the basement (!!) (Pro Tip: We used this basement floor as a "speak-easy" lounge for the adults once the real party upstairs started, and had our photo booth down here. The kids also LOVED finding the "secret room, aka the vault").
The A++++ Team. From the beginning, the entire Treasury team was on top of everything. And when I say they went above and beyond - I truly, truly mean it. Hayley and Natalie were willing to work with me and all of my crazy requests. At several points throughout the process, my mom and I remarked how accommodating they were and their enthusiasm to try something that hadn't yet been done at the venue. They exceeded my expectation of having a "non-cookie cutter" wedding. They were responsive and prompt to my emails and texts. Natalie is, and I cannot say this enough, an absolute joy to work with. At points throughout the process, she was a godsend. And while I tried my hardest to not be a bridezilla and to be on top of things... life happens. But each time she was there, she was understanding and patient, and I really loved seeing her every time we came to visit the venue.
The Lofts. Highly, HIGHLY recommend reserving the lofts for the weekend, as well. We did this and on Friday night, just me and my girls stayed in the largest room and we had our very own bachelorette night of face masks and gossip. And in the morning, it was SO easy to just walk down the stairs to the Bridal Suite and start getting ready. There was no driving around at 6 in the morning, there was no fuss, no lost bridesmaids or mothers. Everything literally came to us and we just had to show up in our pajamas. The lofts also served as additional rooms for our closest guests, and as the easy go-to afterparty spot for those who wanted to keep the night going and then pass out on a bed or a couch afterwards. There was no worries about driving to another hotel or having to end the party early. And then, once my husband and I wanted to call it a night, we just walked down the hallway to our own private room. We couldn't hear a peep from the party down the hall. It...
