I have never been more upset about a haircut in my entire life life. When I noticed it was a young man who was going to cut my hair I froze and almost asked for someone else. I wanted to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, though that he could cut hair and especially women’s hair. My bangs are my comfort. I have a bad colic in the front and I told him that that if you cut too much off the right side that it will Spring up. I gave him clear instructions to only trim right to the top of where my eyebrows are. He clearly seemed to understand. Then he was like oh I’m sorry I cut more than you wanted. When I looked in the mirror I can’t even express what I was feeling. He not only cut my bangs so short the right side(left of photo) there was tons of long hair hanging on the other side. He had the audacity to ask me what was wrong. I said besides the length it’s not even even. He cut it and proceeded to cut all of it even shorter. . He also took off 4 inches of my length instead of two inches. No big deal that I could live with. At this point I could not even look at myself in the mirror. I went to pay and asked for Manager. I could see the shocked look on her face. At this point I was crying. Alls she did was not charge me and said she could fix it for me. Other than fixing the long hair I still have hanging on my shitty bangs. (See photo) she obviously could not fix the length. The really sad thing is the guy who cut my hair said to me “at least it will grow back”. Like that is going to help me for the next two weeks. The fact that I have to wear a ball cap for the next two weeks because it looks that bad, and only get a haircut I didn’t rightly have to pay for. Is not acceptable. Will never use them again. This guy should not be cutting hair. I have attached a before and...
Read moreI moved to Port Orchard August 2013 and have been here three times. The first time was just for a haircut. Robin cut my hair and did a great job; she also talked me into coming back for some color that I had been debating.
When I returned a few weeks later for color with Robin, it definitely was not the same Robin that helped me out last time. She seemed scatterbrained and did an awful job on my color. I have dark, almost black, hair and when she touched up my roots I left the salon with dark, dried stains from the dye all over my forehead, neck, ears, etc. She did not take her time and was even sarcastic and snobby whenever I tried to make conversation.
The third time I returned (after going home and fixing my own color) to have a quick trim with Bailey. I opted for a walk in this time, hoping to avoid Robin. Bailey must be a new "stylist" because she handled my hair like she was afraid to touch it. She washed about half of my hair with ice cold water, the back was still completely dry when she was done washing it and didn't rinse all of the shampoo/conditioner off. I can honestly say that I've never seen a hairstylist cut hair like she did. She cut just the bottom after she combed it out, never trimmed my layers and did not even touch the front portion of my hair. After putting even more product in my hair, she attemped to blow dry it. Only she dried it for about two minutes and told me I was good to go. I couldn't believe what I saw in the mirror, my half damn product filled hair looked like a helmet on my head.
Needless to say, I won't be giving Third Dimension another try for the "three strikes and you're our" rule. Not worth my time or...
Read moreI'd like to preface this review with the fact I have gotten two perms on the past from another business with no hitch whatsoever. I went to third dimension for a perm and haircut and it was an absolute nightmare. They scheduled my initial appointment at 6 pm, and the hairdresser rushed my perm since they closed at 8, forgetting a crucial step in the process. It ended up not taking. I called the salon for a redo and had to ask for the general manager. She said she would redo it herself in a week and was very kind. She ended up canceling the appointment on me and I had to wait another week to come in. Meanwhile, my husband went there for a basic haircut. He asked for them to trim the curls in the back and they shaved them off--a look Forest Gump wouldn't even appreciate. When it was finally time to get the perm, The gm decided to overdo it with the chemicals to ensure it would take this time. My head was absolutely doused with chemicals, causing a chemical burn on my forehead that is painful and unsightly (see other photo). My t-shirt was also doused in perm solution. The ladies there were nice and I appreciate the attempt for service recovery but I'll never be back. UPDATE: a couple days after I posted this, I realized there was stubble at my hairline where hairs had completely burned off. They are all growing in now and sticking straight out. Its upsetting because when I went to them, my hair was super healthy. I'm going to have to live with the consequences of going to this unprofessional establishment for...
