I was in this store today with my son and his GF to buy a dressy ensemble for him for a wedding in San Diego in which is GF will be MOH. My son, a skater and outreach worker for addiction services has never dressed up and never owned a suit. Walking in we threw ourselves on the mercy of a sales associate who was lovely and very helpful. Wish I had gotten her name, but suffice it to say she steered us in the right direction. Through no fault of anyone’s there was a glitch in the process after the purchase (no email) and we could not be certain the order would be expedited in order for them to have it before leaving on the following Thursday. Between the manager, and the sales associate they put every effort into making sure this suit would reach my son on time. We were treated with respect and courtesy every step of the way, and the manager went above and beyond in her efforts to solve the dilemma. This is a terrific store with helpful staff. If you want quality clothing (BR is iconic), and to be treated like a valued customer, I highly recommend you shop here. Read moreThey would NOT exchange a brand new pair of jeans with all the tags still on for one size smaller because I was beyond their return window. I drove 35 minutes to get here just to be told no. Not even “let me talk to a manager”. Just no. It would have cost them nothing. They get a brand new pair, I get a pair that actually fits. Even exchange. I spend $1000’s at this store and this location every year. Well, SPENT! And I just kept forgetting to bring these in. These last few months have been busy with the work and the holidays. What’s weird is I think they’re also sized wrong, because I have another pair of the same jeans that do fit. It’s a small thing, but the interaction leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a store won’t budge on their policies. I tried calling the corporate office but my call went to Banana Republic San Francisco and talk to the Manager about the issue. The Manager of BR SAN Francisco Branch put me on hold to see if she can contact the Cascade Station Branch and got back to me that she also cant get hold of anyone.This is so frustrating that I have to go drive all the way 40 minutes from my house to see if they have the shirt that I really like.
