As a previous waitress of 9 years, bartender for 6 and a general advocate for the public... this review is tough. I know everyone has a bad day, and not all chain restaurants are the same. However, this Wild Wings was in Portland, close to the airport and Ikea. We were seated right away to a table that was not clean, but the condiments set up like it was. There were two seating areas that I could see. One by the bar and one where we were sat. Maybe 25 tables or more. We were not given silverware or napkins. Our drinks were brought out right away, but our order wasn't taken for about 20 minutes. Now we normally would walk out, but our son had finished his soda already, so we opted to wait. The waiter finally showed, left without taking our order to get a cloth to wipe our table, AND THEN took our order. He seemed to peeve the table wasn't wiped. Mind you, there were about 14 staff. We counted. Two of which were hanging out by the back wall, and they apparently did not see my wave to get their attention when we tried to get the table cleaned. We had ordered mozzarella sticks, but they came after our food came, and our waiter seemed to be taking care of the bar area. That's where he kept coming from. Meanwhile, staff members kept streaming out of the back. The two guys at the wall looked to be in conversation and watching television. Nobody asked if we needed more drinks except our waiter at the end, who finally came by when we flagged him down for the check. I'm unsure if he thought his teammates were checking on us or what, but I've worked at a sports bar. For how little of people were in the main dining room, with how many staff were on the floor, two tables next to us should not have walked out, our service shouldn't have been so bad, the food was incredibly salty and the staff should have worked as a team to uphold the dinner service needs. I am highly disappointed, as I wanted my husband to enjoy the wings. He said they were incredibly salty, and the sauce seemed like it had been from a can. It had a metallic taste. We will attempt the one here in Vancouver before we officially veto BWW...
Read moreIf i could rate this -5 stars, i would. my co workers and i ordered togo at the cascade station. when i parked in the togo spot at 11:56, i texted the number with my name and spot i was in. no one came out to greet me or to tell me how long the food will be until its ready. i called the store at 12:06 (which was 6 minutes after the food was supposed to be ready) and was told by mckenzie that the food will be out shortly. the food was given to me at 12:10 and was told to have a great day. i arrived at my work and as we were unpacking the back we realized the fries were not in the bag, as well as a very small amount of wet napkins (we ordered 50 wings, and was given 3 wet naps for 5 people). fine, we didnt mind driving back. my co worker offered to go. when she got there, she walked in and she told the lady at the front desk "the fries were missing from the order" and the lady responded "oh yeah, I remember not putting them in the bag" so then they went back and grabbed the bag of fries that were at that point 20 minutes old. they gave my co worker the bag and she tried a fry and realized they were old, so then gave the bag back and asked for fresh fries. they told her "if you want fresh fries, you will have to buy another order. the girl who picked up the order left satisfied. its not our problem." manager was requested but not in the building, so then a superviser was requested and the superviser said the same thing, blaming us that it was our fault that THEY forgot to put the fries in the bag. my co worker at that point was so frustrated with the customer service that she just grabbed the bag and left. I have been at BWW for many years and enjoyed every visit. This behavior is incredibly unexeptable. i feel sorry for whoever was served by these people and their poor customer service. i am hesitant to ever return to this location, or any location for that matter, since now i will be expecting this sort of treatment from now on. I have already filled out the complaint form, just wanted to share my experience with anyone who thought to order...
Read moreI went there today with my son to have a nice lunch but the waitress I had was rude when I tried to order and use some point that I had through the app that were about to expire, she told me I could only use them on take out and there was no code for her to enter so she simply couldn't do it. I was confused because I have used my rewards a couple times and they just take your phone number and enter it and the rewards come off the check so she irritated when I double checked the fine print in front of her and it said nothing about rewards only could be used on take out only. I asked her to give me a few more minutes to figure out what we wanted to order since I couldn't use that reward. While I was waiting for her to come back I saw and heard her talking about me to her co worker's and then them looking over at me and my table. I didn't have an issue until I saw this unprofessional behavior from someone who is supposed to be providing customer service to me and my family.I asked to speak to the manager and explained to him the situation and he explained the rewards and I could use them but only certain ones would work for dine in and he understood that I didn't feel comfortable dealing with the previous waitress any longer during our visit. All I wanted to hear was a reason not just "you can't use them". Even after I saw him talk to the previous waitress she still stood around talking about my table to other co-workers, it made me feel very uncomfortable that every time I looked forward where I was facing and the staff was looking at us while she was talking to them and it was just very unprofessional and makes me never want to return. I've been going to this location for years and never had a bad experience like this before, the staff is usually very nice and helpful but this experience has left a bad taste...
