I went in with a simple question about my laptop not charging, it was purchased one week prior and had it completely configured. This charging issue was the only sign of it having a malfunction. The geek squad representative sauntered over to me with a literal scowl on her face, immediately, without looking at the device told me that I should exchange it. I asked if she had a charger I could use to determine if the issue was with the laptop vs. a problem with the charger, reluctantly she went to locate a charger from her back room. When she came out with a charger I had to show her where the port was to plug it into (no big deal). The same problem occurred indicating the problem is with the laptop, she again repeated that I had to exchange it that “they cannot repair it here”. I took a closer look at the port to see that the tiniest rock or debris was lodged in the corner and most likely the culprit. I asked for a can of air or a brush to try to clean the port, to which she said “we don’t have anything like that”. This is completely obsurd being that Geek Squad is an IT Support Service located within an electronic supply store... I silently took the laptop and walked away, with absolutely no comment or condolences offered by the rude rep. I proceeded to walk back to the the computer dept (who referred me to geek squad initially), relayed the experience and asked if they had a can of air. Read moreBad service- Had cracked phone screen repair appointment scheduled for 5:40. I showed up exactly on time. Geek member, Daniel did tell me that it was close to closing at 8pm and I might have to come back tomorrow to pick up my phone. I was not given or offered another appointment.
This bothered me- because if I have an appointment I think my phone should be repaired during that time. 2:20 is plenty of time to replace a screen. In all other jobs- if you have an appointment employee stays to complete the service in the time frame.

Read moreThis place is a disaster from the top down. Scheduled an appointment on their website to have my phone fixed. Drove 30 mins to arrive on time. Spoke with a young black guy and a Hispanic girl (wannabe manager). Once I arrived I noticed my appointment was next on the screen. After I spoke with the Geek Squad they said they didn't have the parts they needed to fix it. They told me to contact Samsung. I told them I did and they sent me to this best buy and then they replied that this "wasn't our fault, Samsung didn't send us the parts we need". When I asked why they allowed online scheduling for this repair and asked why I wasn't told ahead of time, they responded that this wasn't their fault either.
