Montavilla Christmas Tree Lot — Attraction in Portland

What a lovely place to buy a tree. They have a good selection with a price range from $45 up for handsome trees. They have noble firs and the Douglas fir we bought was a very busy and handsome specimen.

They have a little jig built for cutting the cookie off the bottom of the tree. This seems like overkill until you set the tree in the tree stand and discover it’s already perfectly level and standing straight up and down.

They have beautiful wreaths for sale, and beeswax candles. They gave my daughter a little kit to decorate the cookie from the bottom of the tree. Attached is a photo of the first stage, draw with the included glitter pen.

We were late getting a tree this year and our usual tree lot was closed. We found them online and called (bonus points for answering their phone), and said they had 21 trees left. What a stroke of luck to find them! The husband (apparently family run for ~20 years) who assisted us was super helpful, prices were reasonable & they have an ingenious reusable metal tree stand you can purchase …which they install and show how to single-handedly adjust the straightness of the tree on-site. So much easier to deal with than traditional stands. We’re definitely going...

Awesome experience, this will be your new favorite Christmas tree lot! There were so many beautiful choices, all different sizes and different types. The whole team was extremely helpful with any questions we had. They even cut the little piece off the bottom and give a big shake down in their tree shaker. Practically no excess needles in our home after we brought it in. The whole set up was incredibly wonderful, welcoming and...
