I truly wish I had a good experience like so many others seemed to have. But unless you have money that you don't mind throwing away, I would avoid this place 100%.
On our first (and regretful) trip to the store, I got a very high pressure salesperson who would not leave me alone so that I could browse on my own. I ended up picking one that was way over my budget, which I had shared with him in the beginning. He got me with incessantly letting me know how "it's such an amazing sale for such a high quality hand made rug that will get passed down as a family heirloom for generations, spend a little more for something that's superior in quality"! I really don't give in to high pressure sales tactics but I figured I'd give this rug a try since it was exchangeable.
The rug wasn't right for my space so I brought it back to be surprised that I couldn't really find one that I loved for my living room so I settled on one that I figured would be a safe choice (mistake #2). It had to be ordered and when I received it and opened it from its packaging, it had such a strong smell of mold that I had to keep it out in the sun for several days to help get rid of it. After bringing it in (still faintly smelling of mold) it looked horrible in my space, I'm guessing the store lighting helped a lot because it really looked so different. Even the nap seemed to be so much less quality. I was even wondering if it was some type of bait and switch. It seriously looks like it was purchased at WalMart.
This rug STAINS like no other rug I have ever owned! My stomach wrenches every time I look at it...this ugly rug that now has forever stains in it, that I paid close to 1K for, that will probably end up on my husband's shop floor! Granted, I accept that it was my mistake for picking it out. Before I did however, I even tried to see if I could possibly find my exchange rug at another store location since they might have different inventories and I was not finding one that I really wanted at the original store. Nope, not allowed.
I guess not every employee knows about which sales there are and/or for what rugs. As I was checking out another employee who was passing by mentioned that the one I was purchasing was supposed to be at a different sales price, so luckily I saved a little bit there I guess.
If you're gonna take your chances there, I hope you have better...
Read moreWe've purchased rugs from this location multiple times, and have been impressed with the quality, service, store selection, etc. each time. We worked with Memet yesterday and today, and he is super nice, helpful, and just plain ol' fantastic to work with. I have never felt pressure to buy anything while here, so I don't consider them high pressure at all. In fact, they'll let you take rugs home in some cases, and try them out in your space, which is awesome.
I see a few negative reviews have mentioned that their prices are high, but with a high price, comes great quality. Our previous rug purchase was 3 years ago, and the rug still looks brand new. Albeit, we vacuum it multiple times a week, and no one wears shoes in our house. Also, we get numerous compliments about it from friends and family.
I can't recommend this store...
Read moreWe had very specific requirements for a large, high quality area rug for our nearly new home. A neighbor recommended NW Rugs at Jantzen Beach. As soon as we got there we were impressed with their volume and selection. Wes listened to our description of what we were looking for, then was very helpful and patient with us as he showed us a large number of area rugs that would meet our needs. With his help we finally picked out one, and were pleased with the price he quoted, and the delivery arrangements. We've had the rug two weeks, and couldn't be happier. Wes really went all out to get us just what we wanted. I recommend this store very highly, both for their products and for the exceptional service we...
