I’ve been to this specific locations 3 times and each time just gets worse. The people at the front register are friendly and welcoming. I order out a lot and I’ve been in the restaurant industry for almost 10 years, so I know how frustrating it can be. But the way these people look at me up and down, specifically the Caucasian woman that work here is crazy. (Im medium light skin tone Mexican w thick curly hair for reference) I’ve never felt this uncomfortable in any other place and the only type of people I see here usually are white woman. If you’re working here, the least you can do is show some respect to those of color the literal name of this company is a Spanish word “Panera” which blows my mind even more. I always make sure I greet people with a smile, show manners, be patient, etc bc again, I know what it’s like. But when I go pick up my food at the counter the people give me the weirdest look and I’ve never heard them say thank you, have a good day not even a smile or smirk in that matter. This last time the girl just side eyed me and kept walking after I said thank you. But there was be a white male next to me picking up food and the employees seem so sweet with him and other people so I can’t help but feel offended when I see that happening in front of me. During my last visit walking out I help the two doors open for a different blonde older looking woman. We made eye contact, I gave a smile hoping to get a smile back or a thank you, instead she just looks at me with a straight face and keeps walking. I don’t want to assume it’s race/skin color related but I definitely always leave this place amazed with how I’m treated. I dress appropriately and I always do my best to be friendly with anyone I come across. But this place is...

Read moreThe Spinach and Bacon Soufflé was the worst Panera product I have eaten, and that says quite a bit. I feel their products' flavors and overall value have deteriorated during the last 2 years
The bacon i am sure was real, but it tasted like little clumps of über-processed pork. I wouldn't have guessed bacon if it isn't the description. Barely any spinach. Now, ya need the spinach to balance out the strong flavors of cheese and bacon- in a typical soufflé. This isn't a typical soufflé.
At first I was disappointed that the top of the soufflé was burned and dried, but I realized after digging in, the kitchen must over bake this muck in order to at least try to provide something resembling a soufflé. The cheese wasn't smooth, melted, and creamy. It was wet (not moist), mushy, and too salty.
The pastry shell was delicious even the bottom, but it couldn't save this mushy concoction.
I give the chefs and kitchen crew a 5-star rating. Not only do they work hard, they are very attentive to the customers. Thank You, crew!
With a drink, the total was $12.00.
Two previous purchases were very disappointing, but I brushed it off. I can't ignore the third disappointment. I had to express my opinion because i once respected this establishment.
I will not return.
