if it weren’t for this store having an item that i’ve been looking for, i would of absolutely not given them a penny. the way not only me but more my sweet babies were treated in this store is absolutely discusting. the sales lady had the audacity to come over and discipline my children, 1 and 3 for being ‘too loud’. it was humiliating and unnecessary. my children were making noise, yes. was it ‘too’ noisy? absolutely not, they’re literal toddlers. i have worked in upper level retail management for many, many years and i’m very aware of how i’m treated in stores. not a good way to hold a customer base. i suppose the store is nice otherwise with a good selection but man i can’t stop thinking about my interaction with that older...

This so far is the best place to consign that I have been to in CT! The owner is always friendly and polite. She always accepts the majority of items I bring in. She prices my items appropriately and is able to sell the majority of them. Items have about 3 months to sell. You can call or email for your account balance. Money can be picked up in cash or used as a store credit for a discount. Your money doesnt expire. Your unsold items are gathered for you with scheduled pickup. If you do not wish to take your items after they expire they are integrated into her inventory and then eventually donated to a womens shelter. The storefront is bright and clean and very organized. I may have gone a little crazy (it was my day off, after all 😉), but it was so worth it. Beautiful pieces, great vibes, and a boutique that knows how to treat its customers right.
