It is a shame what is taking place at this organization. The name that you guys selected indicates that you guys are here to support the Somali community collectively but the way you operate totally fails to fulfill the purpose of the organization. The Somali minority—Somali Bantu individuals receive little to nothing support from you guys. This organization is a one of kind institution that supports not only Somali Americans, but All African Americans, families of refugees (different nationalities), with food, rental assistance, unemployment, and support programs for their communities.

Once of best things about SACOO is that they consistently advocate for for their communities youth. They have programs that help empower them to learn and become productive citizens. I walked in this office to receive assistance from the Somali American Council, at first i thought it was for Somalians only but it isn’t they help those in need. I am what is considered African American and I was assisted by Naimi and to be truthful she was so great and kind very understanding I would consider her to be a breath of fresh air I was super pleased to have found this place and I think any respectful person would love to have their assistance.
