Third time here, read this. Food always has been delicious. Got pan fried BBQ pork bao. Bun was tender and crispy. Also got crispy cumin tofu and was surprised how tasty it was. The server was sweet and shared her Halloween candy with me too! Haha. Place has been open 1 year and omitting the reviews before that this place is actually a 4.6 rating. What's holding this place back? My guess, internal relationships and mixed atmosphere. I doubt it could handle being busy but still come try the wonderful food!Honest.

This is the first time I've ever felt moved to review a restaurant on Google. By far, my favorite dumpling in Portland. Staff is so kind and lovely, space is nice. FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. Recommend the scallion pancake, pork and sauerkraut bao zi, and honestly everything else is dank too.

Best Sezchuan chinese I’ve had a very long time. The bowzi are the best in town. The Soup dumplings are amazing. The mapo tofu, the rices dishes, havent had a bad bite so far. I eat at this place twice a week at least, staff is friendly, a true mom and pop type place too. A+++

There are no burgers, no fries, no milkshakes etc...... it's all Chinese food. We ordered chicken fried rice. The menu didn't indicate it was spicy like it did with other dishes but when we got it home it was so spicy we couldn't eat it. We also got the beef dumplings. They were more like wontons with an unrecognizable blob of something in the center that tasted what I imagine wet dog food would taste like. The bartender was nice but a little preoccupied with anything other than customer service. She forgot to put our order in so after 20 minutes we inquired about our food and she said "oh, they didn't see your ticket so they're just now starting your food". Mind you, we were 2 of only 4 patrons in the whole place!! And the only ones who were ordering food. She never asked if I wanted anything to drink. But she made sure my man had his drinks in a hurry. Just before we got there, apparently one of the restrooms was flooded with water. Rhe owner decided to vacuum the water up with a really loud vacuum that I believe was a regular vacuum and not a wet dry vacuum but that's neither here nor there. It was extremely loud and obnoxious and made it difficult to play video poker. The machines were very hungry and barely let us play but that's not their fault. Anyways, I just thought I would share my experience with that place. I wouldn't...

Was in there last week with a good friend of mine who is disabled due to a stroke. Received excellent service from the waitress who I have to say was not only extremely helpful but made an excellent suggestion with the Chocolate Tuxedo cake! I need to add the fact that she is a very attractive lady and easy to talk with! Will we,(me and my friend Ray) be back again? Without a doubt! I don't know about him but I know I will! I was in there last night for more cake and a little bit of conversation with the lady that was working while waiting for our deserts and wouldn't you know it,guess who was working? Yep! You got it! The best waitress/ bartender in Portland! Great personality and pretty damn #$*& I must say once again! I'm thinking that I'm going to be eating a lot of cake in the future that's for sure! Gonna be gaining some weight! Gonna have to find a way to keep from letting it get outta control, don't want to gain too much! Might want to be somewhere where it's 75° and be...

Finally! An amazing Chinese restaurant has arrived in East Portland. Hazelwood to be exact. Check out Remember Restaurant at 12429 NE Glisan in the Menlo Park Plaza. I had no idea this place moved in. Apparently the owners bought out the old Cleary's bar and restaurant (Clearly's is still there, don't worry!). This is LEGIT Chinese food with handmade noodles and all. Everything from scratch. Not your "American Chinese" type joint with all the deep fried sauce laden stuff that most of this neighborhood has. This reminds me of something in New York or San Francisco. Give these guys some business,...
