Birrieria PDX Restaurant — Restaurant in Portland

I have tried to like this place but 9 times out of 10 my order is messed up. I ordered their Hurache twice, but it had no cojita on it and she specifically told me the ingredients prior to me ordering it. Also in the picture it looks like there's also avocados and guacamole. I only got a tiny sting of guacamole and sour cream with onion and a tiny bit of cilantro. It had about a whole can of beans and a bunch of meat. The queso tacos that cost $4.50 are made poorly if you order more than 1 at a time. In the photo it looks like cheese is on the outside of it (hence the name quest taco) but you get a not so crunchy plain tasting shell instead with a hint of cheese only on the inside. When I brought backyard 7 tacos that were made wrong she refused to remake them and tried to tell me that's how they are supposed to be, even though they were plain. So I just had her give me my money back.... $4.50x7. If it we're my restaurant, I'd make sure that the costumer was always happy. I did test out my theory on ordering multiples vs ordering 1. And you know what I found out? They make 1 queso taco with the cheese on the outside and the taco is still crunchy.

The only good thing I've ordered multiple times other than the queso tacos and they made it right about 7/10 times is the Burrito PDX. That is easy to not mess up but it has happened a simple mistake like all of the meat being at one end and all of the beans and rice on the other end. If the prices were better and they actually had people who cared about customer satisfaction and they strive to make things right for their customers instead of fast, they might actually get 5 stars. But I have been there over 25 times since opening jan2023 and since I live close I would have been more of a regular, if they ever tried to take responsibility for their mistakes. The prices don't match the customer service. They should be about $2 cheaper on every item. And $6 for a drink... you do the math. Poor effort into the food dishes poor customer relations... is it...

This place is clearly overrated. The mobile ordering options are awful. I looked through doordash, uber eats and grubhub. None of them were specific as to EXACTLY what is in a product, nor do they offer the option to remove those items. I got the birreria crunchwrap. While I did expect some sort of chip, it would have been great to know that they also ruin the dish sith some sort of spicy cheeto. Being that nobody is going to assume this was added, adding that to the description would make sense, right? That was disappointing. I wasted almost 14 bucks on that alone. The meat wasn't even that good and I got a TINY portion, since they also fill the crunchwrap with rice and beans. The picture I saw online, showed someone dipping it in consome. Being that it is birreria, why would I not assume it comes with consome in the absence of a competent description? But no - none in the bag for that or the birreria taco.. that's been standard everywhere else I've ordered this. 🙄 Overall, I can confidently say I will never be back and I'll spread the word. This is one of those times you just sit in regret for giving a company your business. I would've preferred just not eating today.

Oh, and on a side note, don't expect anything but the bare minimum for customer service. Sure, I was in and out and that was great.. but the employee couldn't have cared less or been aany...

So we spent 45 bucks for two people , the lady working made me feel rushed to order . I ordered the wet burrito . I know wet but this burrito was so cold the cheese wasn’t even melted . I guess they close at 10 . The lady at the counter didn’t say anything she started putting up chairs on tables and slamming them harder and harder as she got closer . In English we just say excuse me we’re getting ready to close . Can I get you a to go container we are getting ready to close .
