I was here last week playing video poker with my mom. I'm in a wheelchair and so is she. I'm turned around playing and a guy walks in the bar apparently the bartender notices him and says he came in just looking for something to steal Of course he tells me this after this guy comes and ripped my purse off of my shoulder pulls me out of my chair And runs away with my purse as everybody including the bartender is just sitting there looking at everything going on. I get back up in my wheelchair and I start to however slow I'm sure it was chase him down. Which was obviously stupid and long story short there was only one person that helped besides my mom can you put some guy that ran and got in his truck and tried to find the dude. He came back shortly afterwards not even saying anything to me like did he find him or see which way he went or not? And when I went to chase after the dude and my mom also went to I had $42 on my video poker machine thinking the bartender would be paying attention to what is going on in his bar while I was out chasing the guy I figured he would have put a sign on my machine or cashed it out for me. He didn't either one of these things instead he let another woman get on my machine and start playing with my money when I came back I instantly confronted her and he just came up and said here let me check he looks in the machine settings and when I'm trying to tell him what he is seeing is the amount of money I put in the machine which was $25 not the amount I had on the machine when I left to go chase the dude who just stole my purse he didn't believe me as if I'm just lying about this he made the girl cash out my machine and give me 20 bucks and he paid the other five. Oh and all the while this is all going on happening he never bothered even once to call the police for me I had to do it myself. Not that they ever showed up anyway they finally just came to my house at like 2 in the morning to take my report that way they would be able to subpoena the video of the guy stealing my purse from the bar. But anyway women please watch your purses while you're here keep them in front of you not swing over your shoulder because apparently he doesn't care whoever this guy is and the bartender will be no help...
Read moreI love this bar but I was robbed when I went on Tuesday. As a travel nurse I go on google to find places or I go by word of mouth from other people I meet on my travel assignments. The bartender (white woman) around 2pm swiped my card twice. Me and my friend got a shot of tequila each. 2 shots of patron came out to $28 I gave a $10 tip. They never charged my card until that night at 1 am and it pulled for $100. I work overnight so I havnt went into the bar yet but while I am currently on my overnight (5 mins ago) my card was just charged another $40. They stole $110 from my card and I will be going in today to speak with manager. It’s unfortunate because it’s such a good vibe but they do have a card reader that will take your information (hence why they swipe your card so many times and say “it doesn’t work”) I suggest cash only and be carful if you are not from here! They can tell and they will take...
Read moreI like it mostly due to the staff there are friendly and accommodating. Its spacious inside and is never out of prefer things seem mellow well ran for a bar clean from the customers side of view! They always have what I drink which can vary and have offered to place an order for my favorite which I'm not a regular but have been here maybe 25 times in a year's time and never left disappointed or thinking anything bad of the place not one time! There's a lot of homeless in the area and they tend to up keep the outside as well for being so close to the bottle drop and not a bunch of homeless hanging out there or washing up in bathroom. It's a chill decent bar considering the possibilities of what it could easily become so whatever y'all are doing keep on doing it,...
