Storage Rentals of America — Attraction in Portland

The management here is outstanding. Super understanding of issues and quick with resolutions. Facility always maintains reasonable, stable temperature with clean, dry units. Floors are cleaned regularly. Easy access inside and out. Well lit walkways. Units can be a little dark as one walks farther in from the aisle, and there are no power outlets within the units or aisles, but that's probably normal. If your unit is more than 10 feet deep and you have small items you might like to have a flashlight to see easier. Otherwise the overhead lighting from the aisle is your light source. They now have outdoor self - contained, not temperature controlled units out back if you don't need moisture or temperature control. Units are comparable to an outside garage at home. Excellent choices for size. Prices seem to be reasonable (this location is perfect for me so I've not compared to any others). Super easy access from main road. Easy to find in Portland CT...... right at the end of the Arrigoni bridge on the Portland side. Would highly recommend...

I highly recommend StorUSelf in Portland. We just emptied a temperature-controlled unit we had at StorUSelf for couple years. Mike and Robert were always friendly and helpful. Never had an issue with their convenient automatic billing or communication about payments, billing or facility access. Units, hallways and restroom are very clean and safe. Plenty of sturdy dollies ready for use at all doors, and packing/moving supplies for purchase in office. Love the auto lights & music! Doors are secure and entire facility is code-protected which brings comforting sense of security when moving stuff around inside the buildings. Prices are very competitive and if you're in need of a Penske truck rental, call Mike first! They have the best rates and their central location makes it perfect for pick-up and drop-off. Inadequate help- Nowhere for people to sit to wait for your turn to be waited on, very loud and noisy in the office, extremely hard to hear the girl behind the counter, high hidden expenses once you get in there and determined you would like to rent from them. Mandatory insurance coverage that you have no choice but to take, even though our homeowners insurance would cover anything that should happen, an administrative fee which was exorbitant for I’m not sure what because the longest time for anything was standing there. Signed a contract and was not given a copy of the contract. Think twice before going and using this facility. Not pleased. I.
