Hartung Gallery & Art Supplies — Attraction in Portsmouth

Whenever we are traveling, I always ask my wife if we can check out local art stores. We were around the Norfolk area and came upon this fantastic store. Had lots of amazing supplies for all types of arts and crafts. Acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels inks, you name it. I was impressed with their selection, and cursed my lack of funds. I walked away with a Derwent Watercolor wallet set and some giant Baby Shark coloring pages, though, so not a total loss. I could have spent so much time here. We came here for some supplies for my son. We r from California and my son wanted to visit a local art supply store. He was amazed with the different things they carried and spent a good hour, probably more, to look around. We like to take our time at local business rather than chain stores and this one was really cool. Its small but they carry a lot of things. I’ve had several of my fine art giclee prints framed here at Hartung and they knock it out of the park every single time.

These signed, numbered, extremely limited prints are irreplaceable - they make me so nervous when they’re in my possession. But once I hand them off to the folks at Hartung, my worries melt away - I know they’ll be treated with utmost care.
