rude and disrespectful interaction I had with the manager on duty last night who said she was working as the bartender. She was asked to come to my table for you my dissatisfaction with my alcohol drink. She approached the table with a visibly irritated look I guess since I complained. Stated that she put more liquor in my drink than she should've when I told her none was in there. Then when I asked her if she could remake it or if I could change my selection she stated no after rolling her eyes. She stated it was no refunds for drinks which I wasn't trying to get I just wanted the drink made correctly. I have been to this location multiple times with great service but this was the worst and last time I will visit this location. She walked away while I was still taking to her so we did not drink the drinks after the initial taste and left. This is an example of how one awful experience with one employee can stop patrons from visiting. The waiter was great the atmosphere was great the manager was not only not understanding, but standoffish, blunt and not interesting in trying to fix the issue at hand. She like at me with disgust that also made me feel some type of way. I will never revisit this location. I'm sorry she had to with the bar but that's no reason to be unpleasant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI watched the renovation and preparations for this restaurant for weeks. I went to dinner hopeful. After all, this location is in the same building as the former Ruby Tuesday. Reading the other reviews, Iām surprised that I had such a disappointing experience compared to everyone else. Multiple tables that ordered after us got their food before we got ours. Our server tried, but there were a few missteps that were clearly due to a lack of training. I had to ask for something to help crack the crab legs open and even once I did, he didnāt understand what I was talking about. Initially, he also didnāt bring out our hush puppies, which I think may have been the fault of the kitchen because they were cold by the time they did come out. Thereās clearly nobody checking the food before it goes out as well, because probably half of the mussels and clams did not open when everything was cooked, which means they were dead before they went into the pot. That could be deadly if eaten. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. They did just open, what, last week? But within 30 minutes of finishing our meal, my dad began to develop symptoms of food poisoning. So it would seem The Twisted Crab has been possessed by the Ghost of...
Ā Ā Ā Read morewe were looking forward to coming to twisted crab in victory crossing shopping center because we heard that the food was good at this location. we get there and the host greeted us in very polite. she sat us down and told us our waiter was named āTeeā. whoever she was had us waiting 20-25 minutes.. didnāt even get a chance to order food nor drinks so weāre just sitting there like weāre invisible to these people. i had my boyfriend go up there to the host to check and see where this āTeeā lady is and she was politely willing to help and resolve the issue. the host let us know that she informed her that we were seated in the corner. unfortunately, we were still waiting and finally got up and left. while walking out, the manager was told about the situation and apologized to us but we left anyway and also not saying it was the managers fault. whoever was supposed to be our waiter/waitress just didnāt care and needs to be held accountable. even if they were short staffed or something they couldāve let us know and say it was going to be a wait time. also we tried to get another waiterās attention and they pretty much ignored us. that kind of service doesnāt deserve any kind of tip from me.....
