Nice park, softball visit to watch our niece play. Lots of shade, but not a lot of seating so bring chairs and umbrella for additional shade. Consession stand is open when games are scheduled. Drinks, snacks and a pretty good all beef dog was my choice of the day. Dog friendly park. Parking was a challenge, I chose to park on the street adjacent to the parking lot, very tight spaces didn't want to get dinged. We had the whole street to our selves. Old Poway is just around the corner, drip in for a good burger, I recommend the Hamburger Factory Old Poway, kids will love it.... Cowboy hats...
Read moreGreat softball fields! Playground is small but our kids love playing there. The walking trail goes all around. There is a lot of Poway softball pride that shines through the diamonds. Dogs are welcome on leashes and people are really good at keeping them close by. Only cons, would be nice to have some cement going to the diamonds, it's all dirt and wood chips... and some people don't clean up after their dog or horse despite the multiple signs that say to do so, and the parking lot is way too small for the amount of traffic,...
Read moreIn my search for big open parks to ride in, I found that Aubrey Park is one that hits the mark pretty well. Has a pretty decent amount of walking trails that go all around the park. Bathrooms are indeed a bit inconvenient to get to, but that's fine because I need the exercise. 😂 There's even a little bridge at the far east end of the park that allows entry to/exit from the park.
