Had a great time at their Christmas in the park celebration with my family. It’s amazing how they can compact so much into that little park and the steam train is just the cherry on top! Or should I say the star on top. There was a great turn out by all the vendors even though a lot of them were basically advertisement booths, they were tastefully done. All the food vendors did a great job as well. I had never been in that little museum there. They had a display of vintage Christmas items was great. I understand they’re going to have another event on 16 December, will try to make that one as well and this time will get there a little early so we can catch a ride on the “hayride”. Overall, a great place to kick off the holiday season, get in the festive spirit. The buildings have “old west” architecture with some decent shops and a scale steam train that is a nice attraction. You can grab a glass of wine at the local winery, beer at Hop Stop (or visit both not judging) and grab food at one of the several local eateries. Great people and scenery.
