Poway Midland Railroad Train Depot — Attraction in Poway

Wonderful place to take kids! However, my 92 y.o. MiL enjoyed it very much as well as it brought back many memories from her childhood. Adult tix are $2 Child $1. The wait was about 15-20 minutes as there were many people at the park for the open air food market. They did have a lift for her to get on board. The train can make either one or two round trips, depending on the waiting crowd. The volunteers assisting were exceptional! Very pleasant and informative. Great way to spend a couple of hours! Such a great place in Poway to bring the kids! Ticket prices to ride the train I believe are $3.50 for adults and $1 for children. They have a steam engine and also a trolley train. The steam engine is hands down the best and is about to be running again (april 28th 2018) Every now and then they even perform a western cowboy bank robber reenactment its great! Eat at the hamburger factory next door and make sure you check out the Veterans memorial...

Just in case anybody was wondering as I was since they don't seem to have updates on their website or FB, THE TRAIN IS STILL CLOSED due to Covid 19 as of today Sept 19th, 2020.
