So, my son and I stopped by on this very rainy day. We ordered an Italian sandwich, a bacon and egg crepe a lemon and sugar crepe with a root beer float and a fresh squeezed lemonade. I added avocado to my bacon and egg crepe for an additional 50 cents. All these for the grand total of $36.60. Of course we have the iPad tipping where the first tier is 18%. I gave them $3 instead of 18%. The food came out and the sandwich looks like it was slapped together with grocery store lunch meats and bread with some Lay's chips. This was $10. The next was my bacon and egg crepe. The additional avocado was no where to be seen. The mushrooms were undercooked and the crepe is thin pancake at best. This was a $10.49 crepe My fresh squeezed lemonade was artificially yellow, like powdered lemonade for $3.50. My son's root beer float was a scoop of ice cream, the cheap kind with a bottle of root beer, this was $4. The lemon and sugar crepe did not contain juice from a real lemon, it was a bottled lemon juice with powdered sugar. This was $5.99 The service is friendly, and I get it, it is in Old Poway, but the whole meal is maybe about $25 at most. These people have a long way to go to learn what cooking means. The atmosphere is ok, they need a good ventilation system so we all don't come outta there smelling like grease smoke. This place is sub I HOP and...

After taking our dogs for grooming at Bark & Collar (which I've also reviewed) my wife and I decided to try Wholly Crepe. It's typical of most of the eateries here, w/ a small but roomy dining area w/ tables that usually seat 2-4 people. It was a warm day in Poway but the (2) ceiling fans running kept things cool. It also helped that the eatery faces west so there wasn't direct sunlight streaming through the windows and heating up the room.
The attached pictures show an empty dining area but after my wife and I ordered, there was a wave of people that entered and filled the room. Listening in on how these patrons ordered, I'd say 1/2 were completely familiar w/ the menu and were regulars, or at least dined at Wholly Crepe before which attests to the popularity of the establishment. There were (2) counter people and only one chef but the food for all the orders were brought out in a timely manner.
Overall the food was savory and flavorful and the pricing appropriate for the serving size. The employees were friendly and courteous. Another star for having a clean restroom and not something that you might find on the Fear...

This place offers savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, dessert and leige waffles. You can have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
I got the kitchen sink ($11.69) under breakfast crepes. Has eggs, mushrooms, sausage, onions and crispy hashbrowns with chipotle sauce.
Strawberry banana Nutella leige waffle ($10.69). Leige waffles are different than Belgium waffles because it’s smaller with rounded edges vice rectangular and you could taste the caramelize sugar dough. It came with two waffles. On line menu said three.
Also got the turkey pesto crepe ($11.69). Very good with pieces of chicken strips, crispy bacon and avocado.
I got hazelnut latte and it wasn’t the best but it was a big cup. Overall, I really liked the leige waffle. I’ll have to come back Saturday when I’m at the...
