Hosted my 8 year old daughter's birthday party this past Sunday and it was awesome. We did the 30-jumper package which was perfect because my child has more than 20 kids in her class so we were able to invite her classmates and family utilizing their large banquet room that seats about 60-75 kids & adults comfortably. The staff was great and very accomodating. We had our own Afro unicorn themed party planned so I asked the staff not to set up their normal party set up where they provide the "Get Air" decor which I think would be perfect for a boy themed party. They let me come in an hour early to set up since there was no one using the room prior to our party which allowed us to execute our own party decor. I didn't have to give them the final guest count that just included the names of parents and the number of kids until the day I arrived. Their goodie bags were fun for the kids and even included a $5 concession voucher for extra snacks which we added into it own party favors. The adults really liked being able to hang out upstairs in the private banquet room and watch their kids jump. Our guests had such a great time, our kids had a ball, the pizza and drinks were great-- I honestly have zero complaints and would HIGHLY recommend to others wanting to host a large party where you don't have to worry about cleaning or setting up.

Get Air installed a new set of slides that were poorly positioned and not well thought out. They were opened for the first time during toddler time. These slides have zero visibility or access for parents to help kids in the back of the slide. Kids slide down into a deep foam pit while more kids continue to slide down and pile on top of each other, with no easy grab hold or way out. They have to climb up the slide that other kids are coming down. Several little kids ( including my 5 year old daughter) were trampled and couldn't breathe easy with minutes of them opening this new set of slides to the public. Parents could not see their kids without navigating through a dangerous 2 ft wide channel that has a flimsy net and drop off on the right side. Thankfully another parent went into the pit to save several kids before I could see what happened. I gave this 2 stars as Get Air deflated and blocked off the slide right away. It's a terrible design idea to put a deep pit away from visibility and parental access where kids have no easy way to climb back out. My daughter was badly traumatized by the whole experience. No refund was offered or responsibility taken, just blame to the contractors who installed it.

My husband, son, and I came to Get Air Poway because Google Maps said “100% recommend!” But DO NOT GO HERE unless you’re okay with potentially getting your head literally bashed in. I know we sign away every single right with their waiver, but as a business which consumers are trusting, they owe the community a place where their own negligence isn’t going to cause injury. Please take a close look at the photos. On the vertical pole right at the entrance to this climbing course, a metal bracket juts out right at the level where ANYONE could swing backwards into it. It’s been shallowly covered with duct tape, but when I slammed into it, it was still enough to cause the injury in the photo. I’m so grateful it wasn’t my spine that hit. Later, when I was pushing my son in the swing beside the climbing course, I saw a young girl jump onto the swinging bag and almost get bashed in the head by that bracket jutting out. This is SO dangerous. The whole place has a vibe of “We don’t really care.” The ceiling insulation above the dodgeball pit (and maybe elsewhere, although I didn’t check) is literally falling out. How could 100% of people recommend this place? TL, DR: Unsafe jumping/climbing conditions at Get Air: DON’T GO!

They don’t honor reservations

My kids love Get Air. We are so excited with COVID going on to have found an open activity for my sons birthday. In fact, last year on November 9th we even booked his birthday party here. This year with COVID we just let him invite 2 friends to keep our circle of contact small.

I called in advance on Sat the 7th To learn how to book a spot to come jump. I was told I needed to buy tickets first and then call back to make a reservation. I did exactly that, I bought tickets, called back and spoke with a gentleman and I made reservations for Sunday, November 8 at noon for my son’s birthday for 4 jumpers.

On Sunday, today, we got here early at 11:45 to check in, and the lady said that they are only excepting reservations. I said perfect we already made one. And she said “no, I mean our computers are down and we’re only accepting new reservations” And that the 12 o’clock time slot is now full and we have to wait till 1:00. I didn’t like this, and was quit blunt at expressing that I did everything correct. I called twice on Saturday, once to learn how to reserve and again after I bought the tickets, and my son is here with his friends expecting to jump at noon.

She basically said well it’s 1 o’clock or you don’t jump at all. I told her I have to call my Kid’s friends parents to see if they can stay out that long As I told the parents our jump time is noon. Fortunately the parents were OK with this, but I said what perk do we get for losing our reservation and having to wait an hour? No perk was given.

I’m really frustrated that this is the way it went, I did everything right, I bought the tickets in advance and made reservations. Even came 15 minutes early for check in. She didn’t seem apologetic or to have the best customer service skills, You know, like saying “I’m so sorry, or, I know it’s such an inconvenience” or like empathizing with me in anyway. Also she doesn’t even wear her mask properly. She had I tucked under her nose even when interacting...

DO NOT book a birthday party here!!!! My daughter rented room for granddaughters birthday and it was horrible service!!! First, we called several times during the week to inquire about what we could bring and confirming time. No one ever responded. When we finally reached someone on the phone to confirm party scheduled on Saturday they asked my daughter if she was sure it wasn’t on Sunday!? They emailed a confirmation for Saturday!!! We arrived 5:45pm (they asked we arrive at 6:15 for 6:30 party) we were allowed into room way after 6:30 and when we were the room had people in it from previous party and the floor was sticky and dirty! The pizza arrived(not very good) and was just handed to us with juice and soda. We never saw anyone else after that. Not a single staff member came back into the room to check if anything was needed. When we tried to order another pizza, we were told no and received attitude, very unprofessional. We cleaned the room and had to put all trash in one trash bag because no trash bag was provided. They had the nerve to charge us cleaning fee! There was no supervision on the mats. Teens tossing water bottles on mats, running through crowds of kids and play fighting. They need A LOT of staff. One star given because...
