This place gets five stars because it's in n out and regardless of the dining experiance, it's a burger place that just cant be beat. I've traveled all over the country and sampled local eateries and the popular local chains, this one is second only to another Los Angeles local joint called Tommys, and if in n out had Chili, theyd probably be first in that too.
This particular location, while ideally suited at a major cross road and buried in an industrial zone that I am sure packs this place full at lunch, is very hard to access. There is one street and one driveway to get in here. It works ok, as long as you follow the directions. A missed turn will mean a 15 minute delay while you travel to the next light to make a u turn.
The lobby is also small. To be fair I've been in in n out restaurants with lobbies both bigger and smaller and ones that have only outdoor seating. So this isn't the worst thing in the world, but this place is packed at meal time. So come prepared.
And come hungry, because as usual this place has some of the best burgers and fries cooked on this side of the universe.
EDIT: We made a second trip here, and if I could give it six stars I would have. Within minutes of sitting down one of my kids dumped their soda all over the seat and chairs. Not sixty seconds after we told the counter person about it she herself was at our table with a wet floor sign and a very clean looking mop and pristine towel. She had it sorted it shortly there after.
That she came quickly was great, that she came HERSELF from the counter was amazing! That at no point did I have any hygienic concerns over the supplies she was using to clean with...
Read moreBeen to In N Out hundreds of times. This was by far the worst experience at any In N Out and it wasn't even busy. I rarely leave feedback like this, but it was so bad that I had too. Encountered a relatively long line in drive through, which isn't non standard, the issue was that after 10 minutes of waiting, the line didn't move.
Decided to go inside to order. There were less than 10 people inside so we were optimistic. Ordered quickly and then sat and waited. I watched the poor management of this restaurant while sitting there and instantly knew it would be a long wait. Waited almost 30 minutes for a relatively small order. When I finally and patiently inquired about status, I was met with rudeness and defensiveness, which is rare for In N Out. I asked to speak with the manager as clearly poor management contributed to the issues experienced and she was also very dismissive and unapologetic. All in all, waited almost 50 minutes, had poor service and attitude, and all this at a non busy restaurant. The manager here...
Read moreIn and Out is always busy, no matter what time of the day, which location always busy. I swear it could be out in the middle of the desert in the middle of the night and there would be a line in both the drive through and inside.
Our son was at practice and we decided to pick him up a bite to eat on the way to get him. In and Out is always a favorite, double-double w/cheese, fries and a root beer. Dinner of champions for our favorite drummer. I work in the area and know during the busy work day our local In and Out is always packed but thought around 9:30PM on a Saturday it should be peaceful, businesses are closed, not many houses around but I was wrong. It was super busy. The staff is super nice, store was clean and we literally ordered and were in and out (pun intended) with our food within about 10 minutes. Even being packed they were quick. Great location if you are up in...
