My family LOVES this park. During the summer, we took our son nearly every day! I wasn't too keen on it when we first started going there. This was because there was a solid week where there were kids that were unsupervised that were blocking smaller kids from going down the big slide. This is the tallest slide they have and it isn't easily accessible for adults; so once the kids are up there and it's a mid-day busy crowd of kids, they won't be able to hear you from down below if you're yelling at them to go around the big kids or just come down. It seems that this was something that didn't happen often as I began to notice that parents stayed very close to their kids. As we visited the park more and more, we fell in love with more than just the playground. My fiancĆ© would take our son to the playground and I would walk our dog around the trail, sometimes venturing up the massive hill or exploring other small (what I thought were kiddie playgrounds š) outdoor fitness areas. What I was impressed with was that this outdoor stationary fitness equipment was free of charge and free to the public to use. They also had a music area by one of the shelters. These beautiful instruments were also stationary, free to use for anyone visiting the park. Please visit if you're in the area, you won't be...

Lots of rope climbing and adventure course challenges for bigger kids AND toddlers! The covered picnic areas have grills, tables, fire bowls, trash cans, and bathrooms. The bathrooms are large enough for strollers and wheelchairs to fit. They are not gendered restrooms and all have changing tables, toddler safety seats, and blow dryers, but no paper towels. The exercise station is for ages 13+ with machines that you can change resistance for more or less of a challenge. Walking paths are wide enough for families and bikes to share. The lake path boasts a peaceful embiance with fountains in the middle of the pond and trees lining one side of the path. There are 2 parking lots, however once the construction is finished and people move into the area I fear parking may become a MAJOR issue...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this place! It was a golf course that has been converted into a park. I take my dog for a walk all the time here. It's a great place to go for a walk with or without furry friends. They have a real cool play area for children. There's fields throughout. There's a big "mountain" in the middle . It's called Mount Meadowbrook. It's fun to walk up there and look all around the park. I don't know if they allow sledding in the winter. They also have pickle ball courts if you like that. There are plenty of shelters to hold outside get togethers and they have grills too. There is a real cool little soup/sandwich place called The Market. The food is good there. They also have a restaurant that is kind of pricey but still has good food. Surrounding this park are real nice looking houses , nice apartments and a nice hotel. The Market and the restaurant are in the hotel. It's areal nice...
