2023 [UPDATED GENERAL PARK REVIEW] -Great park for picnics. -LOTS OF benches and shade/trees -Playground in center of park is not fenced in but is accessible by wheelchair! -Some of the sidewalks/ paths around park need some maintenance otherwise would be great for kids to bike, and more wheelchair accessible. -Plenty of trash cans -Hummingbird Garden with trumpet honeysuckle! -Well maintained fountain -Well maintained grass. -Playground is most suitable for school age children [ages 4-11] -Tall slides and climbing structures suitable for older kids. -Swings -Interactive play areas for younger kids -Little free library box for book trade (was empty this visit but it is usually full of books most of the times I have visited) -Bulletin board for local information sharing -Often a lemonade truck nearby -Three Sisters [Ice Cream shop] across the street is one of the best in the state- home made ice cream flavors. Definitely bring some cash for a treat! ♡

Read moreLippit Park sits in between Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard, where the streets meet. It's not a fenced park, and there are no public restrooms available. There is a playground with slides, rockwall, monkey bars, and two sets of swings for younger and older kids. There are some side structures for younger kids, a couple of tables with checks on top and a sandbox. There is plenty of space for other activities like amateur soccer, football, or frisbee all on grass. There is a water bubbler that is usually functional in summer times and is near the playground. Sometimes, you can see people sunbathing or reading books on the grass. The park is fairly active with an ornamental fountain and is conveniently near the blackstone boulevard walking path. Near the park there is a famous ice cream place ( Three Sisters ) and oftentimes there is a Del's lemonade truck parked on the blackstone boulevard side...

If you’re looking to immerse yourself in nature, this isn’t the park for you. But if you’re for a nice grassy area to relax after a run down Blackstone Blvd or you want to spend a day at the park with your family and meet some neighbors, this is a...
