This was a selected venue for a social distancing event for members of my region/ agency. I checked it pout a could of days beforehand and I'm glad I did. I met the caretaker on the night of the event to find how diligent they are to protect suave when it is reserved. Thank he gave me information about the park and we discussed my agency and what we do. I told him it looks nicer somehow and he explained how they prep. I was amazed at the lengths they go. the things I wouldn't know I didn't know changed with that meeting and I have an increased respect and gratitude for the Provo Parks and Recreation. There are playgrounds, restrooms, a volleyball court, a bike trail, footpath, multiple pavilions to sit under...we had a blast for those of us...
Read moreI haven't been there much, but it has very nice grass - and I'm a stickler for grass (I grew up in CO where grass was always half brown and full of pine needles, so I appreciate good grass when I feel it). I'm not a playground person and I have no kids, but I do like to lie down and hang out on the grass in the shade.
Lots and lots of shade plus more open, sunny areas if you like that. It's also pretty cool in some areas cause there's a little creek nearby with cold running water so the evaporation makes it cooler. Was a life-saver during parts of the heatwave.

Read moreThis is an awesome little park with open space and lots of shade. There are plenty of huge trees around and it's next to the Provo River which keep things cool on a hot summer day. As a bonus there are several gazebos with grills by them and the grass is kept well. My only complaint, which is not a huge deal since it's not meant to be a football field, is that the ground isn't very level pretty much anywhere making it hard to play field...
