Kids loved this pool! I have some very active kids and the obstacle pool was such a fun way to get them to use their energy. It was perfect for teens, my 10 year old was a bit short for some of the things. So many things to do! The water slides on the outdoor pool are so much fun! I recommend the orange one if you are afraid of the dark lol 🤣 the green one has some areas that is completely black and has you guessing your fate. Even though it gets crowded, this place is so big, you don't really notice. The kids love this place so much we got a pass even though we live 40 min. away!

They've taken covid precautions and check temps of every patron, and still provide full facility of services including indoor & outdoor swimming, fitness and gym activities (basketball, tennis, racquetball, pickleball, skateboard ramp, volleyball). Something for EVERYONE!

We did not plan on going here but the water 💦 park we wanted to go was closed. I found this recreation center on Google. I'm glad we found it! Great prices, nice, clean and friendly staff. We plan on coming back again and again.

The Provo Recreation Center's outdoor pool is an absolute summer haven that promises fun, excitement, and memories in the making. I am absolutely enamored by its offerings, particularly the super-sized slides that are the epitome of thrill and adventure.

From the moment you step into the outdoor pool area, you're greeted by an atmosphere of joy and anticipation. The super large slides are the crown jewels of the facility, drawing in both kids and adults with promises of exhilarating drops and laughter-filled splashes. The rush of sliding down those towering structures is a sensation that's hard to beat, and it's safe to say that I've indulged in more than a few heart-pounding rides.

The outdoor pool's spacious layout makes it an ideal destination for summer parties. Organizing a gathering for your ward or group becomes a breeze when you have a venue that caters to both entertainment and relaxation. The variety of pools, including the splash areas and lap pool, ensure that there's something for everyone, regardless of age or swimming ability.

What truly stands out about the outdoor pool is the sense of community it fosters. Whether you're attending a summer party or simply enjoying a day out, you'll find yourself surrounded by the laughter and camaraderie of fellow pool-goers. It's a place where bonds are strengthened and friendships are deepened.

The Provo Recreation Center's outdoor pool is more than just a place to cool off; it's a destination that encapsulates the essence of summer joy. From the towering slides that dare you to take the plunge to the fun-filled atmosphere that invites connection, this pool is a treasure for the community.

In a nutshell, the outdoor pool at the Provo Recreation Center is a summer gem that promises an unbeatable combination of fun, thrills, and togetherness. Whether you're seeking an adrenaline rush down the slides or a spot to host an unforgettable summer gathering, this pool is the...

Updated, and very disappointed!! So we came to the pool again and i decided to bring a small hand size cooler with water and one bag of frozen gummy bears. I was a little surprised they insisted on seeing my cooler when i always see people with colors everywhere. I told them what i had and showed them. I had to throw away the gummy bears which I was disappointed in, especially since we normally spend about $50-70 on the snack bar everytime we go; but those are the rules right. Well not 5 minutes later another family comes in with a FULL SIZE COOLER. They set up next to us because it was pretty packed that day. As they sat down they opened their cooler and pulled out family size bags of candy and snacks. I was surprised because the same person who stopped me and wouldn't let me enter until he saw my cooler, and I threw away my candy was still checking people in. How had he not seen all of their snacks, when they were clearly not trying to hide them? My guess is they didn't get their cooler checked, like I did. As I looked around I saw many families with obvious outside food, and eating it openly. The only difference is none of them looked like me or my family. As the day went on it became very clear that some people were searched and others weren't..btw that family and the other one next to us, both took out home made sandwiches and chips and other snacks to eat... I'm extremely disappointed in...

I visited on the 4th July weekend with my sister, her husband, and their 1 year old. The rec center was very busy and finding parking was quite difficult. I paid $5 to get in for myself. The changing rooms were clean and easy to navigate. There were private showers with soap offered and communal showers. There was also a swimming costume machine that spins and dries your suit. There were family changing rooms on top of gender-specific changing rooms. The front desk had water diapers for babies.

I didn't get to interact with the staff much. There were very young but attentive lifeguards everywhere you looked. They had whistles to correct visitors and I swear I heard the whistles more than I didn't haha! The overhead announcement speaker was impossible to hear.

There were both indoor and outdoor pools including slides, a play park, and a lazy river. There is also an adult-only spa area that no kids are allowed in. There was a separate longer pool that offered a obstacle course in the pool which looked...
