Presti Pizza — Attraction in Raleigh

Delicious wood-fired pizza served up quickly at this new Wake Forest area food truck.

It's pizza only on the menu. Friendly service, and quick. It took about 12 minutes from order to service.

This is no frozen, conveyor-belt pizza. This is the real deal! Hand tossed pies, prepared to order, baked to perfection in a wood fired oven.

Tried 2 of the menu offerings, Margherita and Verdure. Margherita is the classic prep, slices (not shreds) of creamy mozzarella, fresh basil, drizzled with olive oil. Shout out to the house-made sauce... It's luscious and sweet and perfect. The pie is baked just right, crust crispy on the bottom and chewy on the top, complete with a few slightly charred bubbles.

The favorite is the Verdure. This is the same house made sauce and sliced mozzarella plus mushrooms, onion and halved cherry tomatoes. Fresh arugula is added after baking. What a fantastic taste combo. The sweetness of the sauce offset by the tart arugula plus the earthy mushrooms and just a taste of onion atop that great crust. This is a fantastic pizza!

We used Presti Pizza to cater our wedding and couldn’t be more pleased. They were responsible for operating the buffet table, and did so perfectly, from getting the oven setup and hot, to cleaning up and heading off. Even with this being an outdoor event, the pizzas were transferred to the serving table straight from the truck as hot as conditions allowed.

They provided a selection of (4) pizzas, three standard (i.e margarita) and one specialty (Chicken Pesto). The pizza is wood fired, medium-thin crust, just the right amount of chew with a well developed flavor. It’s clear the dough is homemade and cold fermented. We love Presti Pizza! They catered our small, back yard wedding reception (50 people) and did an excellent job. Jen and Paul were so kind and thoughtful and went the extra mile to make sure the reception went the way we wanted. We met in person and scoped out the venue to make sure all the details were ironed out. It was so fun to have the pizza cooked outdoors for everyone to see in the beautiful pizza oven! The whole experience was very professional and unique. Best of all, the guests couldn’t stop raving about the delicious pizza! It was the perfect, one of a kind experience we wanted on our wedding day!...
