Where do I start? The inside of the taproom is a sight to behold. There’s a lounge area a good distance away from the bar if you don’t feel like “bellying up” to the bar. There’s also outdoor seating, which is always nice. Their beers are all fantastic. All three of their IPAs currently on tap are scrumptious. Although I’m not usually a dark beer fan, I must say their “Caramelizer” stout is absolutely delicious. Beware, it’s abv is 10% or close thereto. My favorite of their offerings is their “Remix” double IPA. It’s one of the better DIPAs that you will find, in my opinion of course. It has a distinctive pineapple taste that balances out the hops nicely. It comes in at 8.8% abv. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up purchasing a 4 pack of pint cans. The only downside is that their beers are expensive. However, it should be noted that that is the case with almost all craft breweries. The bartenders are always welcoming and friendly. They’re happy to give you samples if you’re unsure what you’d like (unlike some other breweries that hesitate to give out small samples; looking at you, Burial). I’ve yet to go to this taproom on a weekend day, but on weekdays it certainly isn’t an overcrowded s***show. It’s a pleasant place to grab a brew, or a hat, as pictured haha. I most definitely recommend this establishment. 9/10.

R&D have been around for a hot minute and it's great to see their development as a Brewery. Their new taproom is very chill and laid back! Not too busy, not too crowded, friendly staff and a really good environment! It has a great location and their beers are really good and they have a selection for all tastes. Plus they are the home of the Strom Brew, Carolina Hurricanes NHL official beer and the Durham Bulls beer! So let's support local beers that cheer up our local teams!!! The place is Dog friendly, and it's a great taproom to relax without the big crowd. If you want to get some work done and sip good beer, this is your place! I highly recommend it đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„

Cooked lunch for 12 ppl, changed flat tire on wife's car in the rain. After dropping off car at tire shop, my reward was a trip to 7 Sats. Everyone there was enjoying a lazy Sunday after a morning of rain. The bar tender was friendly & helpful. Note to customers, if there is only one staff member, bus your own GD glass. You order a beer, you get a glass, you take it to your table, you drink beer, you have empty glass, return to bar for next beer while bringing the glass WITH you. Being a human is NOT hard.
