S.E.M. Security Systems Inc. — Attraction in Ramsey

I have been an extremely satisfied customer of SEM for many years. Today they installed a new security system as my home recently received a lightning strike. Although my home was safe I did have my phone and security system “fried”. SEM responded immediately.They provided a quote for the needed new system. No pressure or up selling. Dave Mocarsky was professional and helpful. Two days later they sent a technician (Mike) to install the new system. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. During the process. Mike provided a thorough explanation of the new system. He took his time explaining everything as to make sure we understood the new system. Technically changing a bit from the time we had the original system installed. The new system is great and we are happy to have our security system up and running.

Dave also recommended we look into getting a hole house surge protector. We did and had one installed by an electrician.

Lou from SEM did an excellent job setting up our entire security system. He installed burglar alarms and security cameras. He also set us up with an app so we can monitor everything straight from our phones. Lou was clean, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the process. Not great. Left us for a month with less security than we had prior to engaging them. They apologized and then never followed up on my requests about next steps. A lot of talk and little sense of action is the game here. I was completely upfront about my needs here before engaging them. So this should not be a surprise.
