4th & Penn St Restaurant — Restaurant in Reading

Visit this restaurant last Saturday afternoon 8/3 with my family.I saw many customers dining and I thought it was a good place to eat. I went with my family and we order roast chicken with rice and my son told me that the chicken had maggots!! I couldn’t believe it , but he was right, it had maggots!! I couldn’t believe my eyes!!The restaurant waitress was right there when all this happened. I told her how can you serve this!! She said that they cook fresh every day, that she didn’t know. We left!! This is just so plain disgusting!! We traveling for 2 hours and stop there to eat. Bad choice!! Hoping that clients pay attention of what they eat, also check the temperature of the food. I feel sad for those clients eating chicken that day!!

Visite este restaurante el pasado Sábado 8/3 con mi familia. Vi muchos clientes y pensé que era un buen restaurante. Ordenamos pollo asado con arroz y mi hijo me dijo que el pollo tenia gusanos!! Yo mire y era cierto no lo podía creer!!! La waitress estaba sirviendo en la mesa y vio lo que pasó!! No puedo creer que sirvieras esto!! Ella me dijo que ellos cocinaban fresco todos los días que no sabía!! Nos fuimos, viajamos 2 horas y paramos a comer en ese lugar. Esto es algo que nunca había visto!!Disgusting!!! Mala eleccion!! Bad customer service. everytime i go in it will take ten minutes to be noticed. If you are not dominican or puerto rican you will get serve with the bare minimun effort and thats asking for too much. The servers have the most unprofessional attitude, youre explaining what you want and they barely pay any attention to you( i never got the homemade fries i order) then they serve my coffee with disdain as if its embarrassing to be serving me, the customer. BE AWARE, they charged tips by force. I ask the server how much, she told me the food cost and she said 1:00$ extra for serving your plate to the table!! Excuse me, youre giving yourself a tip you dont even deserve! I know some restaurant charge tip in the check but they let the customer know first. Well , me and my friends went there to get some delicious food how it used to be but I saw a lady putting some old beans that were on the counter without a led and put them inside of the trays for sell ! That was after I was eating when I realized that my friend's FOOD HAD MAGGOTS !!! We went back to them I almost throw up; I showed it to them while she was calling to the owner and we were talking privately but I thought it was on the vegetables so she threw it away but then I realized it wasn't in there! The worst of all is that it was in the beans I felt disgusted by that I will never buy over there again so if you don't want to get sick just make sure the food you're buying doesn't have anything weird I didn't want to do this but honestly I feel like if I don't people can probably get sick by their food , I was going to report it but you know I don't like to f* with someone's business so...
