Secrets Boutique - Redding — Attraction in Redding

My husband and I attempted to visit Secrets just a short while ago- short as in less than a half hour. We are in town on a semi business semi pleasure trip and happen to be guests at on of two the neighboring hotels. We Googled the boutique and bases on pictures rating and customer reviews thought our experience would be a positive one. Parents to 2 girls under 10 we have little or zero time to ourselves. It's been almost 4 years since we've had a kid free night let alone more than one so I was quite excited. We arrived at 945 and weren't rushed since the stores advertised hours say they close at midnight. My husband took a quick business call so we wouldn't be interrupted after we left the store. I watched as one make employee made multiple trips outside one being to take trash to a recepticle very close to our parking spot. Not one word or slightest bit of eye contact was exchanged between us. At 958 I decided to go ahead and look arpund while my husband wrapped up his call. The male employee was cleaning the inside of the entrance but stepped back as I approached the door. The sign had been very sneaky way turned to closed and quickly I knew why he had backed away from the door. He made no effort to speak to me to inform of the earlier closing nor to apologize for dileberately doing so in an effort to avoid having a customer inside the store to make what would have been at least a 300 purchase. The ability to go out for even date night isn't something we get to do so we were going to make the most of our time out of town-- huge loss on revenue and in these uncertain economic times was not a wise move or anything remotely close to a sound...

This adult bookstore pleasantly exceeded my expectations, evoking a sense of being reminiscent of establishments found in larger cities such as San Francisco rather than Redding. Its notable variety of high-quality items left a lasting impression on me as a seasoned patron of such establishments. However, I feel compelled to address the concerns raised by a certain individual named Danielle Shaffer regarding the presence of adult language. It is important to recognize that individuals like myself, who possess an extensive vocabulary and navigate the realities of everyday life alongside fellow customers, confront challenges such as unruly drivers and individuals like Ms. Shaffer, who embody the stereotype of an entitled individual seeking to impose their will. In light of this, the utilization of adult language becomes a natural response. It is my hope that Ms. Shaffer and others with a similar disposition will mature and develop a more nuanced perspective on the complexities...

The staff always makes me feel comfortable with any questions I have and are quick to recommend things that suit my needs!!! Great experience for couples!!!
