Subway — Restaurant in Redding

Around 1:30 p.m. on 7/11/22 I stopped at your store on Hilltop Drive on my way out of town. I ordered the #7 in a wrap. Once on the road , around 2 pm. I discovered that I had received the wrong order, it was a pastrami on bread loaded with veggies and lots of mayo, not my wrap. I'm sure the gentleman in front of me that actually ordered this sandwich was as disappointed as I was with receiving the wrong order and he may have actually returned to the store for a replacement. I was already 20 minutes into my trip and didn't want to turn around. I called 7 different times between 2:15 and 7 p.m., nobody answered, only got a recording of hours to NOT leave a message and that the mailbox was full and was not accepting messages. Subway's advertising over the years has been nefariously deceptive: holding up those who have used their food as a means for calorie restriction to induce weight loss is irresponsible because it glorifies the consumption of animal products which is known to be a contributing factor to obesity and heart disease. There are no gluten free options at Subway aside from a simple salad with processed meat, since there is almost no plant based protein to be found at this restaurant. Even the so called "veggie Patty" contains EGGS which is considered by many vegetarians and vegans to be a form of meat. There is decent selection of vegetables to get on your sandwich but they have never as far as I've known changed the available veggies in a meaningful way. New garlic herb vegetable oil makes "ultimate cheesy garlic bread" obsolete. New Odwala brand fruit juice drinks have better flavor than regular coke products and taste...

The employees had absolutely no idea what they were doing!!! One of the girls was new and just plain rude! She should have been required to do training before being able to be behind the counter. I ordered 3 sandwiches and she made only one of them and then walked away. Someone else had to come over and finish the order. After the new girl made my one sandwich she went over to the register and started to ring up orders. Needless to say she charged me like 7$ more than she should have. Then they all denied over charging me and wouldn't take responsibility for ringing in my order completely wrong!! Finally they refunded my money but still after all that forgot to give me the toy for the kids meal which they were the ones that said I paid for it. I will not be going there again.
