This park represents my youth. In the day time, children play here and you can lay down in the grass or play Frisbee. At night, the lights of the basketball court and tennis are left on. The tennis courts are usually empty at night, but in the basketball courts are filled with young men and boys shooting hoops together. I love sitting here at the picnic tables with my SO and hearing the sounds the ball makes on the pavement, the sounds of their banter. When I was younger, my teenage friends and I would spend the night on the play structures watching the stars. The area is safe - patrols come by to check on everyone all night, but they manage to do it discretely and respectfully, which I love. Bless...

Now it's a destination park designed to use every bit of its small footprint efficiently. It was packed when I was there with kids riding scooters, kicking soccer balls, and hanging on the monkey bars.

Everything was clean, though I didn't go into the bathroom. My only concern was there was lots of food trash everywhere. Thankfully there were empty trash cans all around making it easy to clean up. Overall I was happy to "pitch in".
