The Empanadas King — Restaurant in California

Just had an amazing experience at this Argentinian gem! 🇦🇷

I tried three different empanadas, beef, beef with chimichurri, and ham & cheese, and each one was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly baked, with a golden finish and great texture, and the fillings were packed with flavor. The chimichurri added a bold kick that took the beef to another level.

The atmosphere is super authentic, Maradona jerseys on the wall, old-school Argentinian posters, and even a framed photo of classic empanadas like the ones I was eating. You can feel the pride in both the food and...

Called to place an order.

Woman who answered phone barely spoke English. Asked about raviolis.. said they didn't have them today. Asked about sandwiches.. said they didn't have them today. She said "Only empanadas today". I asked "So, you don't have any sandwiches, salads, pizzas, pasta??".

All of which is shown on the online menu.

She said give her one moment. Comes back after about 20 seconds or so and says they have pizza and names a few pizzas.

I said have a good day and hung up.

Really gotta get people who can speak English and present your menu...

Ordered from Empanada's King for the first time. Tried 4 of their empanadas: Angus Beef, Organic Chicken, Spinach and Ham and Cheese. plus a side of Chimichurri sauce. All very good! Looking forward to trying more of their empanadas and sandwiches. Will consider going back on 5/24 for their special seafood paella they will be cooking...
