Jade salon has been around for 25 years, it's a local neighborhood hair salon which adepts to the time inits own way. Some staff has been there since the beginning, they have the larger albeit aging customers, such as myself who's been continuing customer for 18 years, I kept going back because they did excellent haircuts. The other half the stylist are in their 20s, catering to teens and young adult customers, with wild cuts and wilder colour and dyes. The space itself looked low rant and uninspiring, so if you must get a hair do, cut, color in glitzy setting with loud music or scarcely clothes stylist, then Jade is not for you, look elsewhere. If you want good cut/do/style/color at a very reasonable non-ripoff price, give Jade a try and you will be pleasantly impresses with your hair afterwards. Seasoned stylists has huge customer base and expect waiting time during common busy times. Young stylist has a fair customer base and those are wild youth, often no waiting, do explains in detail how you want your hair, then you'd get it. So, do I recommend Jade salon? Well I'm a 18 years customer so what do you think? Yes of course. Would my teen daughter recommend Jade salon? She does her hair there too, with color/perm/cuts all that whatevers new thing kids does with hair. Last thing: customer base is 80% Chinese, they know how to cut Asian/Chinese hair, if you are Chinese/Korean/Japanese and ever got your hair cut done wrong going to a fancy glitzy downtown place where men stylist are either flaming queens, or bodybuilders, and women are all tactical DD cups... and paid $$$ for a haircut. Then Definitely give Jade a try, you won't like the low rant setting, but you will like how your hair is...
Read moreI’ve been searching for a hair stylist who can give me a sharp, stylish short haircut without charging over $70. A friend referred me to this place, and when I called, the gentleman who answered was kind and helpful—he recommended I ask for Paul after I mentioned I wanted a current, fashionable look.
Paul exceeded my expectations. He was focused and professional, taking his time and saying only a few words during the entire 40-minute session. His dedication and attention to detail truly impressed me—he’s one of the most committed stylists I’ve encountered.
While Paul may not be completely fluent in English, showing him a photo or two of your desired style is more than enough to communicate effectively.
The best part? I paid half the price I used to—and walked out with double the satisfaction....
Read moreUsually when I get a haircut at other salons, I’m disappointed somewhat with the outcome. But here, they’ve given me two really great bobs that I’ve been confident to rock. The first time Wei Wei Xia (I think) cut my hair and he speaks English pretty well. I showed him a picture of a long bob and he did a wonderful job and gave me pointers on keeping up with the style.
The second time, I came in for a trim a couple of months later and had another hair stylist. I wanted to keep my hairstyle, but she ended up leveling my hair instead of keeping the long bob. By the time I noticed, it was too late. But that was my fault for not communicating it clearly. I’m still happy with the bob. For the quality of the cuts, the price is way better than...
