For a first-time experience, It could've been a lot better. I initially ordered the Mango Creme Brulée, but due to last minute decisions I decided that I wanted to switch to their Deluxe Strawberry Cake after hearing great reviews upon it, so I called the bakery and requested a cake-swap. The lady on the phone was lovely and said that she was able to do it and noted it down.
Upon arrival and picking up the cake, I've decided to have my sister-in-law go pick-up the cake on my behalf. She noted to me that upon picking-up the cake she had to wait 10+ mins and the lady that assisted her was rude, as stated previously my order was "Mango Creme Brulée but swapped with Deluxe Strawberry"
When assisted my sister-in-law asked if the cake was swapped - in response the lady said "yes it is" however I needed to be present for pick-up due to price indifference and needing to be refunded my purchase and having to repurchase the swapped cakes - Which made absolutely no sense as both cakes were priced the same and there was no price indifference. On top of that - the Deluxe Strawberry Cake was already present in the box given to my sister in law. However when my sister-in-law reached for the box of cake. The lady withheld the box of cake and insisted that I must be there else the cake will be swapped to the original Mango Creme Brulee Cake. Due to a hurry and frustration , I told my sister-in-law no worries and just take the Mango Creme Brulee Cake due to the lady over complicating the situation as she could've easily given us the Deluxe Strawberry Cake as their was no price indifference and the cake was already PAID FOR!
Mango Creme Brulee Review - The Mango Creme Brulée Cake was good but it could've been better, the presentation itself was a 10/10, the chiffon was light and airy. The whipped cream was not too sweet, the mango mousse mixed with the whipped cream was a perfect combination, However the mangoes within the presentation was not ripe at all, some were even inedible and had majority of my guests spit it out. If the mangoes were ripened it would've been a solid 10/10.

Read moreI LOVE LOVE LOVE 85⁰C Bakery! They always have fresh offerings with a great variety and very high quality. The pastries/buns are self serve but everything is wrapped in little bags so contamination is minimized. The cakes are always delightful! My favorite is the Deluxe Strawberry. I can't explain the frosting in words that convey just how amazing it is. If you read the description, it's "just" whipped cream but 85⁰C's whipped cream is made from clouds (don't tell them I told you their secret). It's super light, fluffy and airy but it's not sweet. The rest of the cake components all come together in a beautiful chorus of flavor letting each one of those speak to you instead of an over bearing frosting. I also love their chocolate mousse cake. It is very rich so you better love chocolate! The dusting of Cocoa powder on top provides a nice hint of bitter that cuts the sweet from the rest of the dessert nicely (listen to me go on like I'm the connoisseur of cakes) no but really, my point is that everything is such a perfect blend of sweet and not sweet that it's an enjoyable experience! Try everything, you won't be disappointed! Not only do they have food but they also have an assortment of teas, Mills and coffees. Download the app for special deals.
Things to note: You can dine in though there are only 2-3 tables.
I don't recall highchairs so if you're dining with a small child, keep that in mind.
The restrooms are open and it's a single restroom that is wheelchair accessible.
Everything is pretty wheelchair accessible except for around the self-serve pastry area, it might be a tight squeeze and things might be out of reach.
They do accept tap to pay at this location.
You can buy an ENTIRE cake! They even give you a cake cutter! (I saved the best for last)

Read moreThis is my new go to for coffee. Due to all the chaos with the Starbucks reward system I’m just done. I found this place on DoorDash, and I’ve ordered quite often from them since. My drinks have been consistent in taste and temperature. I’ve started branching out and ordering some of the teas. I did appreciate last week when I was ordering one of the teas trying something new the barista pre-warned me that it had aloe in it. I’m not a big fan of aloe so I went with a different variety. Enjoyed it. I haven’t tried very many of the pastries here. The ones I have tried i didn’t care for. They were terrible but just not my personal preference. With that being said I don’t think it’s fair to rate the pastries. One thing I appreciate about this bakery is that you can order on DoorDash and there’s no minimum fee that’s really great because I am so tired of a minimum fee. I spend a lot of money on DoorDash. It’s my primary food source sometimes you just wanna buy one cup of coffee and not have to get a minimum of 10 or $15, I feel like this bakery is reasonably priced. My lattes are consistently around five dollars from my current experience of ordering here in the last two months. I’ve not had any issues or problems that needed to be resolved so I don’t know what customer service looks like in that aspect. While they are not super friendly the staff seems to be pleasant enough. I wish they opened earlier than 8 o’clock on the weekends never check to see what the weekday openings were because I primarily order or stop in on the weekends. Overall, I’ve been happy and the consistency is key.. I feel I am getting value...
