Brought my entire family for my grandson's birthday. Was there almost two hours, bowling, eating, and using the arcade. Some wanna be came up to me and told me I needed to remove my firearm from the building. I am a retired law enforcement officer of 31 years and was openly carrying. I explained the laws of Washington State and asked very politely for him to show me the required signage that prohibited all firearms in the building. He pointed to the sign above the lounge. Mind you, I'm standing in the arcade area with 50 to 75 people of all ages. I asked to speak to the manager. He returns with a very obese person who demands I take my firearm outside and then I can return. Not wanting to be confrontational, I obliged. When I returned inside, I approach the self-identified security staff and ask for their names. They refuse. Another man walks up and identified himself as the owner's son, again not giving his name and tells me to leave. He threatens to call Richland PD. I ask him to. I then go wait outside for them to arrive. PD gets there....alot of them, and they get both sides of the story. I'm then told by a very young officer that I can't consume alcohol while wearing a firearm. I explain no one had established that I was consuming alcohol. He then explains that I can't be in an area where alcohol can be served! Um, wrongo!! Firearms are allowed in public restaurants. Two of his colleagues turn away embarrassed as I explain, "if that is your belief, then you had best go inside and arrest the staff members who are allowing all those minor children in the arcade, which you consider an area to consume alcohol". He turned and walked away. Establishments that sell alcohol need to educate their staff. I'm sure my 2nd amendment attorney is...
Read moreWish I could give 5 stars because Cam, Karen and Mary in the bowling alley were absolutely fabulous. Super accommodating and personable. However, in the arcade section, Izzy, was extremely rude to me. She was not explaining clearly what card she was talking about regarding the money and tickets and so when I asked a question she raised her voice and said "I didn't take your money." I explained to her that that's not what I'm saying at all that she's just mixing the cards up and I'm not understanding which one she's talking about. Then I ask clearly while pointing at the cards which one has money left and which one had only tickets. She answered and I said okay. She then responded with an attitude and said "so, what did you want." I said a green diamond as my niece asked for it, then very quickly after my niece says "no i wanted pink!" so as Izzy is walking away I say "i'm sorry she wanted pink could you switch it?" and she responded with "UGH, can you help her" to a fellow co worker (not sure the name.) The other lady simply switched out the diamonds, took 5 seconds. Then My niece lost her diamond so I went back to get her a new one and as Izzy is standing at the counter waiting for someone to walk up she walks away as I go to get another diamond so I waited for the other lady while Izzy hung out in the arcade. Extremely extremely unprofessional even after I was very kind and patient and explained it to her, she was still very rude and had an attitude. Will definitely return for bowling, but not the arcade unless different staff is present! I'm not paying...
Read moreThis one star is for the bowling section. The arcade was great. Me and my friends went to go bowl due to the rain canceling our plans. We got lane 16 and the dude next to us who also works there brought in his own bowling balls. I must have used his bowling ball on ACCIDENT. I hardly ever bowl, but me and my friends wanted to do something fun. Right off the bat the thin girl with dark hair was very rude and seemed very, very passionate about her job and came to me and took the 7 lb ball because she said it would crack and then offered me to keep it. It didn’t make sense, but I can only assume the dude next to us who brought in his own balls must have mentioned it to his coworker and then proceeded to take the 7 lb bowling ball which was good for me in my case because I’m 6 months pregnant and it was light enough for me. Anyways after she came and took the bowling ball the guy who also works there told me that he brought in all his balls so if he was upset he could’ve have told me as an adult and I would have apologized but instead I strongly believe he went to get his co worker to take the 7 lb bowling ball. Also , I tried to look up the rules for bowling shoes because I took my son to the bathroom and the same thin lady followed me in there looked at my shoes because I just took my son and was outside the stall & said “ehh” & left. It was such an awkward/targeted experience. Also for the food we got nachos and wings and they were good and the food...
