Nicholl Park — Attraction in Richmond

The park has gotten better over the years, but is still questionable. As much as I like the skate park, it's definitely not for children. What is for children, is the play structure in the back of the park. It's has been updated recently with new structures added to the area, old ones re-painted and a complete removal of the horrendous sand that was was placed on the ground of the structure area, now there is pine bark instead, which is easier to remove trash and other debris from. The actual park itself is nice it has barbecue pits picnic tables. It also has a baseball field a playground and a skate park. It is a really nice park. But and there is a but the folks that occupy the area shaky to be kind. And that is too bad that you aren't safe at a park. The first thing to come to mind is not safe....

I grew up down the street, Mcdonald boulevard, from wonderful Nicholl park! So many great memories of the big swings, the wiggly slide, the choo-choo train in the tunnel, the animal farm, the huge grass area, Moos ice cream across the street, and many wishes which have come true at the wishing...
