Absolutely the BEST Chilaquiles. I literally drive far to come here and dine in. The atmosphere here is so inviting and homey. I love coming here. The staff and people are so warm and nice. Every chip is crispy and cooked fresh. I ask for lite sauce and extra cheese and cream. The eggs are cold how you'd like and the beans are fresh too. Great for any time of day.

The rice is amazing at this place, simply delicious. But the decor is a bit tacky and the one man band is way too loud. Sure, that's what's normal for a Mexican Restaurant but you can barely hear yourself as the music echoes in the 97 percent empty room. I'm not sure why the musician would ask the people who are the least likely to know any spanish music, what song he should play next. We shake our head and explain we dont know any and he just keeps asking. Anyways, the service here is good. They get to your table quick, and return often which is nice. The only thing that I would add that disappoints me is the way they serve the carnitas. They cube it rather than have it shredded. I'm not sure if that's an idea they have to stand out as a restaurant but it makes it taste weird and bland. It kindof wants you to order something else but even the quesadillas and tacos have it cubed.... Good service though, food is good. Overall, a nice place to eat at...

Very impressive salsa bar. I'm a salsa guy and I'm hard to impress. All 4 salsas had great flavor. I usually only like 1 salsa at most places. The neighborhood is not great and the building is old but besides that, this is authentic. It has that Mexico feeling. Fast, friendly, and affordable. This place is one of my favorites and is delicious. I’ve ordered the menudo, barbacoa plate, barbacoa flautas, consomé, and the shrimp cóctel and each one of these items is truly delicious! I look forward to the weekends when the barbacoa is available because it’s just SO GOOD. The service is amazing too. It’s a great spot to enjoy your meal and savor every bite.
