Old Liberty Theater — Attraction in Ridgefield

Honestly until a few months ago I was not a fan of the coffee and espresso they served there... The drip coffee in the carafes was often tepid in the afternoon, and I didn't feel like the hired help was necessarily very well trained at making espresso. That has all changed recently, for the better! A cool new espresso machine and a big step up in the quality of the coffee beans they brew has heralded what appears to be a big and overdue commitment to making good coffee! I've been several times in the last few weeks and am thrilled with the improvement. Highly recommend. As for the theater itself, it is an intimate, inexpensive place to enjoy good music. Not enough places like that...

Don’t miss experiencing this part of Ridgefield history. During the week stop by for coffee and relax or do a little work at the tables provided. Get a pastry to go along with that coffee. Later get some ice cream. There are some local crafts and books to browse too! Be sure to check out the music and comedy shows every month. I grew up here on Ridgefield Wash. I actually was looking for a coffee shop next door to this old time movie theater it did not look pen or in service anymore the front had black plastic on it. But I cannot believe it was still standing and in great shape after a hundred years or more I did see a movie in it when I went to view ridge middle school and it was very very antique then but...
