On Feb 21, 2024 I came into the store to make a purchase. Julia the sales rep was very rude. I came in the store to purchase an iPad for my daughterâs birthday. I called the store prior to arriving and spoke a very nice rep Jason he was able to help chose a iPad that would be perfect and set up the order for me. I arrived at the store about 15 minutes later, I walked in waited for a few minutes and Julia approached me, I told her I had spoken to Jason, he was helping me and I asked to speak with him. She basically ignored me and said I donât see an order here for you, she asked me what the order was and told me she would check to see if it was in stock. I told her I had spoken to Jason and he confirmed that everything was in stock and available. She went to the back and brought back the item. My daughter was with me and I told Julia to make sure to included the student discount. She began to get my total, I watched her put in the payment method as credit card and I explained I was paying with cash. She says âoh I entered card and printed the receipt, let get someone to help cancel and redo the transaction.â Another lady walks over and shows her what to do. She started the transaction again, I noticed she forgot the student discount she says donât worry about it itâs fine, it will all work out on the receipt. She give me a total with discount and say again oh itâs fine. Then give me the wrong change. Only enough change for the cost without the student discount. I corrected her and explained that she didnât give me enough change. Frustrated she say let me get the receipt and Iâll show you. She comes back with the receipt showing no student discount. Then says â let me get someone to look at this. She comes back with the same lady as before who I must say was very nice and helpful. She tells the other sales rep in front of me, âI donât know why itâs such a big deal, itâs only $30 dollars.â The other sales rep says give that lady and her daughter their discount and her money. Julia then rolls her eyes and huffs. I believe Julia had an issue with me because I am African American, she assumed I had no intentions on purchasing when I walked in, she seemed annoyed while helping and was rude. During our transition she also began talking to other people in the store. She did not show any interest in helping me and was so rushed that she continued to make mistakes. I even glanced over at the security guard that was standing near me and he put his head down and shook his head in disappointment of Juliaâs behavior and the rude things she was saying. Even when the other sales rep came to help she talked over her and assumed she was not knowledgeable, she tried correcting her several times, the other sales rep knew exactly how to correct Juliaâs errors. Mind you the other sales rep was African American as well. This was unsettling and disappointing, I brought my daughter in the store on her birthday to allow her get her birthday gift and we were treated rude and racially profiled.    Read moreLast time I had to go in to replace an airpod, I had a terrible experience and the manager reached out to me. I was hoping for the best today but was let down again. When you walk in, people just stare and you and finally someone will say âCan we help you?â as if youâre not a customer but an annoyance. There is an odd atmosphere in the store. Itâs not friendly at all. I went back to the Genius Bar, and no one greeted me, no one said anything at all, it was awkward. In a customer service setting, people should be greeted with smiles and hellos or something of the like, but several employees passed me and other customers behind me without even that. I wasnât asked what I needed until 20 minutes after my appointment time, minor inconvenience but like I said, it wouldâve been awesome to hear someone say âwe are a bit behind schedule, we will be right with you!â at the very least. We are all human but how much effort does that take? I waited until 3:35 to come back to up my cellphone and no one spoke to me again, and the man at the front door asked my name when I returned, said I had missed my appointment and I said no, I was there to pick up, and he was like âOhhhh!â and thatâs all. Once again, awkward and odd. I waited 25 minutes after the time they told me to pick up and finally checked out. It looked like several peoples devices were ready to be picked up since they were stacked on the counter and continuously being brought out, but only ONE person was working that portion of the store. I even asked a young man passing by if he knew how much longer it would be before it was my turn, and he looked around me and said âIâm in the middle of an appointment, sorry, I donât know.â I just turned away because I was already annoyed and that was only answer I was provided? This store has several issues. My coworkers have had similar experiences as well as other members of my family. The lady in front of me when I was checking out was also visibly annoyed and I canât blame her. If there was any other store nearby me, I would go to it. I am considering making a further out drive to any other Apple store just to avoid walking back in this...

We have been to the store before, but had never received service from Nia. Thatâs what made the visit outstanding. From the moment we approached her, we knew we were in good hands. Nia was incredibly patient and kind to my mother, taking the time to listen to our needs and address every question we had, no matter how dumb or small. Her attention to detail and willingness to explain things thoroughly made the experience feel personal and tailored just for my elderly mother.
What truly stood out was how she handled the major complications my mother had with her deviceâNia remained calm, composed, professional, kind, and solution-oriented. She took the time to troubleshoot effectively and made sure my mother fully understood each step of the process. Her positive attitude and professional expertise were not only reassuring but made us feel valued as a customer.
Niaâs approach with my technology deficient elderly mother was the perfect blend of warmth and professionalism. She created an atmosphere that was comfortable and stress-free, making what could have been a frustrating experience into a smooth and pleasant one. Itâs rare to encounter someone who genuinely cares as much as Nia does. She went above and beyond to ensure that my motherâs phone was fixed and that she had no other issues. My mother left with a big smile on her face.
We truly appreciated Niaâs exceptional customer service that we displayed to my mother and I. It is very clear that Nia is an asset to the Apple Store team.
