They do excellent work, but if you’re planning something with a strict deadline—like a proposal, wedding, or any event—you might want to lie to them and tell them a fake date a few weeks before the actual date.
This has happened to me and several of my friends. For instance, my husband didn’t get my engagement ring until six hours before he planned to propose, despite giving them months of lead time. My best friend had a diamond necklace reset to wear for my wedding, and it wasn’t ready until the day before she had to leave for the event. Now, another friend is getting engaged this weekend, and they just called about the ring on the Thursday before.
