Ripon Branch Library — Attraction in Ripon

This place slaps. The preschool story time seemed to pick more slow paced stories but there was more kid engagement by the story reader than at Mantecas story time. However, it doesn't have Manteca story times play time afterward, where they bring out a ton of toys and playdoh and stuff.

They do have interesting things like a play tent and pretend campfire and great summer reading prizes and the Osmos setup for an iPad (just one iPad, keep in mind) so they are much cooler to hang out in once storytime is over than Manteca. Definitely check out the summer...

Melinda, Alicia, the rest of the local crew, and the County do an outstanding job of making the public library a community asset.
