I had a great experience with these folks about a year ago and it left a lasting impression for sure. After Harvesting a deer, they hung/aged it for me. As a rookie meat cutter myself, the butcher even took a few minutes to give me some advice/tips on maximizing my cuts. I got to spend some time getting to know the owners and while being new to California, this shop reminded me of what a good, family ran business is really all about. They took great care of me and the large pork shoulder I bought for making ground/Sausage was the best I ever had. I will definitely be doing more business with these folks and I highly recommend giving them a shot for any of your meat needs:)...
Read moreGood job aging the meat. Ground beef is good. Unfortunately the rest was one if the worst custom cut jobs ever. Did not follow cut list instructions at all. Steaks all bone in - requested boneless 1 inch - got bone in 1/2 inch. Tenderloin supposed to be whole - bunch of pieces. Just a few examples - pretty much got the whole thing wrong. Cannot recommend.
