I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chris at Shipwreck, and I can confidently say it was the best barbering experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly demeanor that immediately put me at ease.
Chris exemplifies professional service in every way. He took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offered expert advice that resulted in a haircut that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it was clear that Chris is a true master of his craft.
The atmosphere in the shop is perfectācasual and relaxed, yet with a touch of professionalism that makes you feel like you're in good hands. Itās the ideal place to unwind while getting a top-notch haircut.
Affordability is another standout feature. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, especially considering the high level of service provided. It's rare to find such quality at such great value.
Scheduling an appointment was a breeze. The online booking system is straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to find a time that fits into my busy schedule. Plus, Chris was incredibly accommodating and flexible, ensuring I could get an appointment that worked for me.
In summary, Chris at Shipwreck offers an unbeatable combination of professional service, friendliness, a relaxed atmosphere, affordability, and easy scheduling. I highly recommend him and Shipwreck in general to anyone in need of a great haircut. This will definitely be my go-to barbershop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been coming to this barbershop for a while, and Memo has always done a fantastic job with my haircuts. However, I recently had a disappointing experience when I tried to book an appointment for 3/7/25. I saw that Memo wasnāt available, so I booked with Jay, assuming he, as the manager, would be a top choice. Unfortunately, the haircut I received was far below the usual standard. I requested a mid skin fade, but it was rushed, uneven, and not up to the quality Iāve come to expect from this shop.
I didnāt want to make a scene at the time, especially since I was coming from work and had errands to run, but when I got home, my wife noticed the uneven patches and sloppy work. Itās disappointing, and I also noticed empty alcohol bottles in the shop, which made me wonder if that contributed to the quality of the haircut.
Iām hoping the owner can reach out to discuss this further, as Iād be happy to send pictures of the cut. Iāve always enjoyed the service here and would like to continue, but this experience has left me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy Barber's name is David. He goes by "Thy Art" for some reason; I'm guessing his Sensei gave him that name when he was just a young lad in training--or not.
If you're new, he doesn't talk much, and that's okay because he'll give your hair all the attention in the world to get you looking your best.
Once you become a regular, he says a few things like, "what's up? Or "You're late," something of the like.
Also, don't let David's tattoos scare you-- those aren't homie tattoos, they're all done up professionally, so it's meant to be admired.
He's so "hardcore," he says it like it is-- and I appreciate that, even if it hurts. lol
All jokes aside, I've been going to him for a long time now. He's never called out or canceled on me, and has been a reliable friend and barber.
I recommend him for sure, and recommend the rest of the gang as well. These guys are all veterans in the barber world. You're in...
